Remarks

It's always Awesome, My college has good placement, but it's compared to a school, it's having full of rules, there the only target is to make the students get there degree is the main thing of my college and also to get a good placement. they don't bother about students mindset is the main problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering has a state of art laboratories and research facility. The department identifies the real time projects, help and encourage the students to complete them with innovative and creative ideas and skills. Sufficient models like project management, preparation, modeling and classification of date, designing of embeded systems, robust control, digital signal processing, advanced computational method in modeling and engineering design etc are taught using sophisticated techniques.

Periodically to train the students right from the First year onwards to enhance the Softskill and Technical Skill which are relevant to get Placement in Leading Companies.Teaching and Coaching the Students' especially in the area of Numerical Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Project Development, Solving Puzzles, Software, coding and Debugging, Physchometric Test.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not bad, for an anna university counseling student the tuition fee is 20,000, for first graduate student and 40,000 for other students. The bus fare is different for different areas, The book and other instrumental fee is 12,000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Chairman, Ponjesly Education Trust awards scholarships to students who secure rank/ merit is Annauniversity Examination , at the college level. Such students are facilitated to utllize the scholarship amount to pay fees. Those scholarship are presented to students through V.I.Ps in functions.

Campus Life

Labs, The basic electrical and electronics lab is one of the first electrical engineering lab courses students will take. In this lab, students become familiar with making basic electrical measurements using laboratory instruments such as digital multimeters (DMMs), power supplies, function generators, and oscilloscopes Sports, Physical Education in viewed as a discipline which brings within its purview the development of motor skills associated with such physical activities as games, sports, gymnastics, dance, swimming and so on. It combines such general objectives as body development and fitness which includes sports skills, health emotional and social behaviour. The importance of physical Education today is its direct link with academic learning. A healthy, Physically active student is more likely to be, academically motivated.

Hostel Facilities

Built up Area of the Ladies Hostel is about 20,000 sq.feet and the Boys Hostel is about 25,000 sq.feet. Hostel Students are provided to use 24 Hours Internet Facility. Library is kept open for their use. Separate hostels for boys and girls. Regularity, puntuality and discipline have been the watch words of our hostel life. Recreations include gymnasium, television, outdoor and indoor sports activities, magazines and internet access.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes , The 2nd Saturday of May is earmarked as PONJESLY Alumni Day. This is an all-day meet creating an opportunity for alumni, current students and faculty to interact and bond. This day is celebrated with a mixture of cultural events and talks by alumni, students and faculty. Discussion on industry trends, opportunities and Institute development initiatives form the crux of the talk. It is also a day for alumni to relive their days at the Institute and share memories and experiences during their stay at the college and post their gradution.

Admission

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these courses is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam with 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry combined. Selection of candidates is done on basis of 10+2 marks' merit through TNEA counselling
