Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was customized in order to train students for tackling the disastrous tragedies. The college prepares students for strategizing for any sort of disaster and making India a habitable place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our course fee was almost negligible at around 3,500 INR. The college is allowing the students to fulfil their dreams of higher studies without moving away from their native home. Our college was very cheap and affordable.

Campus Life

We had a science society, sangeet mahavidyalya, anthropological museum, etc. so yeah there was a lot of additional things provided by the college, other than the basic day to day facilities. Sports activities are also promoted in our college, with annual sports day celebration taking place at the end of the year.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni association of Morigaon College came into existence in 2003 and since then alumni association has been working towards improving the college status and curbing the career of the students in the right direction.

Admission

Admissions are granted on the basis of merit. I applied with my graduation marks and other academic details. Then later I got a call to attend the counselling round. After that I was granted admission.

Faculty

Faculty was very much supportive and qualified. They were all specialists of their field with a relevant amount of experience. Style of teaching was nice, it mostly includes a live session in the filed. The first hand experience was literally elemental for this particular course and I am lucky to have that kind of teaching.

The curriculum that are done are not for MBA students like drawing dance competition they are not meant for us these things will never prepare ourselves for real world applications Instead they can do gk competition business plan debates etc Exam time table is to be rectified

Overall experience was good.

Likes

Campus environment with lot of greenery and with beautiful ponds in the campus .
Hostel was too big with all the facilities.
Department was too big with good teaching staffs

Dislikes

Hostel foods and bad hygienic and no floor mens to clean the rooms

Placement Experience:

The placement at college was good. The maximum package offered was 12.5 by Federal Bank and the mimimum was 2.5 by ICIC bank. The average package was 5.5. I got a placement offer from Collegedunia and I am very happy to got placed.

A look at TU for MBA program

Admission:

Once I applied to TU with my MAT score I was asked to come to the university for the GD and PI round. My GD round went for 15 minutes and we were given the topic about GST. In my PI round questions were asked about all my background activities besides academics, my reasons for choosing this course etc. Various mock interviews online helped me a lot while preparing for this round.

LIFE at TU

Remarks:

The MBA admissions are merit based. The basic eligibility was graduation with 50% marks and a CAT score. TU also conducted an interview and a counselling session once I was shortlisted. TU is a central university under the government, so they offer quality education for very less fees. This was the major reason for joining TU.

Placement Experience:

From the second year, our campus placements had begun some of the companies are as follows. ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI Life Insurance, Asian Paints, Federal Bank, HDFC AMC, Vishal Mega Mart, etc. The highest package was around 7.5 lakh and the average was around 3 4 lakh. Only 3 or 5 students didn't get placed and some opted out for placements to pursue their entrepreneur journey.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from the 3rd semester, Companies like Amazon, Baja fin, Bandhan, Axis, ICICI etc are prime recruiters. Sometimes university organizes placement events with other universities jointly. I have not completed my course so I cant share my own placement experience.
