Remarks

In all ways College is good, but they are some Students who don't want peace in college, and on the other hand the administration is busy is swallowing funds. Auditorium needs repair and no care is taken about it.

Then we have Fest of each society and department and then the annual Fest organized by the Student's Union. We have a Diwali Mela by NSS. The Environmental Society yani is very active. Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is very nominal, the infrastructure of College is great. We have the biggest auditorium in the University. We have a library, big ground, gym, canteen, computer labs, garden, practise rooms and social rooms. For all these the fee charged is very nominal with good quality education m

Fees and Financial Aid

No I haven't opted for anything such. The fee is within reach of a middle class family and so any kind of loan isn't required.

Campus Life

4

Everything is so good, it feels like my town only. Everyone is so cooperative and friendly. The gender ratio is good. Student's from all around India come to study here. There is no ragging, the campus is ragging free. Student politics is very influencing. People from all background come to study here, rich to poor.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very large and it's very helpful. University of Delhi has its Student's in all kinds of field, from IAS to Bollywood celebrities and renowned politicians to journalist etc. Even in sports.

Admission

You have to apply for an Undergraduate course in university of Delhi for choosing history honours as I did. After the results of class 12 is declared a cutoff list of various colleges under the University of Delhi is generated centrally. You can go to the appropriate college according to the cutoff and your 12th results.

Faculty

3.5

We have classes from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm with 4 classes. Faculty is best, in terms of history department our college is well known in the University. So teachers have a teaching experience of more than 30 years. They are the most senior professors in the University, the knowledge they impart is exceptional.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being brutally honest I don't think that the course contributes a lot to our preparation for the real world but it teaches us very new things which I like. The course might not be very helpful in our real life preparation or the preparation for the real world but at the same time it enhances our knowledge and teachers as about various new things so I am satisfied with my course and whatever the curriculum includes I like it

In term of relevance I'll say that there are many topics which should not be taught as they are way too old and contradicting in modern times. New tumes problems and solutions should be taught in replace focusing on present.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are generally placed with an average package of 7-8 lakhs for management programs. Companies including the big 4 like EY, KPMG, Deloitte and other reputed companies have visited and many offers have been made. Around 60% of the students get placed in management branch. After getting the degree, I am also planning to appear in the placement opportunities.
