Remarks

The one thing I hate about my college that their is no direct thing that you can do.Suppose if writes an application then it'll need each and every higher authorities signature and this tooks time.If higher authority is something whether it is imp of not they'll never understand or see if their is only one student is standing outside for the sign. They'll be busy on their own.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The infrastructure of the college is quite good.As per college level, it's the best. What matters is study and placement. The placement of this college is good.Faculty have full support for a student placement.

Placement Experience

3

The best thing of my college is placement. Many IT companies visits our college for a campus placement each year and each years every deserving candidate gets a good salary package. The highest package that has gone till now was from Amazon that was 34-35 lakh.

College Events

3.5

The college also focus on each and every events and holidays.Teachers and students takes parts in events to show their skills and talent. There is inter department competitions are also there and students takes participate in that too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of college is adjustable means it's neither high nor low but the fee of hostels are high.Currently I'm doing B.Tech and my college fee is 43000 while hostel fee is 47000(for 3 seater).

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers a good amount of scholarship for background caste students only if they had given entrance examination. The faculties also informs for any scholarship forms if there is availability.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio in B.Tech is 20:3.The clubs of each department keeps on organizing workshops and events in which anyone can participate. There is no ragging in our colleges. There is warning for every student that no one found to be indulge in any of these activities.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The infrastructure of hostel is good. The washrooms, floors are cleaned regularly on the daily basis. The rooms are spacious and airy.My hostel is 3 seater. There is separate bed and almirah for each person.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year there is alumni meet in auditorium. The students or seniors who got place shares their moments with their juniors. They also shares lots of information for placements that what or what not to be done.

Admission

Well i get admission through direct admission process without any exams.I searched lots of colleges for good placement then I ended up with Chandigarh Group of colleges. The college is good in academic and research.

Faculty

3

The faculties of Chandigarh Group of colleges are really hard working and passionate for each and every student, whether is it a question of academics or placement. There is a good bond between students and faculties.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
