Remarks

There are most of the positive remarks about my college which I should give, like good environment for study, good infrastructure and faculty. But there are some suggestions also, the college should look the each student learning speed as it is seen some of the student don't cope up with the teaching speed.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course structure was good, the burden of syllabus was manageable.Few internal exam were taken trough out year and a final exam in year end taken by the University.Lab work are very interesting and engaging.

Placement Experience

2.5

Because it is a normal graduation course so it was wrong to expect that college give me direct job placement after my course ending. So there are no such false promise before the admission.Though the college was very keen to our over all development. So after the ending of my course I learn many life rules which can help for my future career.

College Events

4.5

Because it is a part of Ramakrishna mission, so the college was very rich of Indian culture. So the all cultural festivals which should celebrated in college it arranged. There are many nation level and international level seminar organized by college. The college ensures that all of us student engage in those events and it make effects on our good life lessons.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for each year is 8k for our course. It is medium range.Because of its fine infrastructure the fee are little expensive than some other colleges. But it all worth it because the faculty, infrastructure, and course engagement is so high quality.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am applied for merit cum means scholarship which was given by the state government and got it.I got 18000 rupees in 1st year of the course.I am not sure about if the college itself give any scholarship or loan.

Campus Life

4.5

It is a all boys college.Extracurricular activities performed frequently by us in the course duration. As, college functions, annual sports, many seminar presentation, and a annual prize distribution.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There are an hostel for students but it is not mandatory to stay there. One could stay outside of the college (like mess) or home and still pursue the course.I stayed in some of the mess near by the college.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very engaging in our college. As it is a boys college so engaging with each other was very frequent. The seniors are very helpful in understanding the college environment and course demands. Some of them was distracting but most of them are gave light in our pathway.

Admission

I am willing to pursue B.sc course so after 12th I choose this college for it's good academic performance. After online form fill up the college published a merit list basis of 12th board number and then give admission.

Faculty

5

The faculty of the college is outstanding. They are very helpful. Some of the faculty are highly qualified. They take full responsibility for understanding the course curriculum and practical work. They are true gentlemans.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
