Remarks

Overall my institution is the best place to study. It has given me the confidence to study well and is shaping me into a good engineer.

Placement Experience

4.5

For the Placement, companies such as CTS, TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Vembu Technologies, Syntel, Byjus and many more companies come for Placement Drive every year. For a student to be placed, he or she should have a minimum CGPA of at least 7.0 with no standing arrears (up to 2 arrears in some cases.). The percentage of placed students in my department is 90%. The college management conducts placement training classes from the 3rd semester itself so that the students can attend the placement drives with courage and confidence.

College Events

5

Excelsior, the cultural event held in the month of March every year. Followed by the College Day and the Sports day which are held at the same time one after the other. The Symposium is conducted in the month of September for all the 7 UG and MBA departments. Above all, each department has a club that conducts inter-department events to showcase the hidden talents of the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is followed according to the Anna University norms as Rs. 50000/yeat for the students through counseling and Rs. 80000/year for management Quota students. Hostel facility can be availed at Rs.90000/Year. Any student availing the College Bus has to pay between Rs. 20000/year up to 19KM and Rs 35000/year above 19KM. The college provides transparency in the fee breakdown and doesn't charge any other fee other than the above mentioned.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers a scholarship for SC/SCA/ST students and students of those parents whose Annual Income is below Rs.250000/Year.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus Life is enjoyable as college management is lenient towards students and is very strict in terms of Ragging and any other illegal activities. The Gender Ratio in every classroom is 30 Boys and 30 Girls in a 60 students intake classroom. The campus is very diverse as students studying here come from all over the state and sometimes outside the state/country. Competitions are being held by the Clubs in each department of the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college has a strong alumni network called the JCE Alumni Association and it holds Alumni Day every year. At the time of Alumni Day, the current students have the chance of interacting with the passed-out students.

Admission

I joined this institution by my relative's advice and got a seat by AU Counselling. The admission for the academic year starts from November to June. The ones who need to join here by Management quota can directly approach the college for the seat and they will be asked to meet the Principal for the selection of course. Once this procedure is over they can pay the fee in the PNB Bank which is inside the campus.

Faculty

5

In my department (IT), there are 2 Ph.D. Scholars, 4 Associate Professors, and 5 Assistant Professors respectively. Most have the faculty have a teaching experience of more than 10 to 15 years. All faculty members are ready to help students in all means. Also, most of the lectures do have industry-experience certifications.

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
