Netaji subhash engineering college is a good place if you want to study. The faculties, the senior are very supportive and helpful. If you want to explore yourself then you will surely get a chance there to explore yourself in your field.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering department is one of the best department in Netaji Subhash engineering college. The course curriculum is according to the Maulana abul kalam azad university of technology and it gives you a proper knowledge about the mechanical engineering, theoretical as well as practical. And the exam structure is, you have to give two internal exam for the internal marks as the pattern of marks is 70% of University exam and 30% of internal marks. The internal marks is of average of two internal exam.
Placement Experience
According to me getting a job in any company is all about our mindset. Definitely college provides us a platform to showcase our talent. There are approx around 50 companies visited our campus during my placement in which some of them are mass recruiter. And about the internship yes not only the placement department even our professor tells us that about the internship. I have not attended any intership but one of my friend has got the intership and his stipend was 15000/- per month.
College Events
There are basically two main event of my college. One is the Avenir the official tech fest of the college and another one is cultural fest. The tech fest of my college is one of the best tech fest in the West Bengal. There are so many participants come from the west bengal as well as from the neighbour states.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. The per semester fee of the college is around 45000/- per semester. And besides the per semester fee there is per semester examination fee which is charged by the university. And during the admission there is also admission fee and the uniform fee which is roughly around 25000/-.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is offered by the West Bengal government for their resident only. The seperate rank is issued for that student and they will be given the benefits of the scholarship. And for the loan, you have to apply by yourself to the bank if you want the educational loan.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities is also good in my college. As i mentioned earlier that there is a cultural fest which happens every year. And we also have the college cricket team, college football team, college basketball team. We take part in the different inter college tournaments. And taking about the lab. We have given one of the best lab facilities in the West Bengal. We have everything in our lab which is mentioned in our curriculum. Gender ratio is also good as i am from mechanical engineering so in my class there is 4 girls and 67 boys but in the other department like computer science engineering, information technology, Electrical engineering, Electronic and communication engineering, the ratio is quite good?
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors of our college is quite supportive. If we are having any issur with our studies or during placement, they always help us. In the college and after the college they always help us and gives us the better solution about our problems.
Admission
I have given the WBJEE exam and my WBJEE rank was 18710. Then i have applied for the counselling. I have shortlisted some college and according to my rank i got admission in the netaji subhash engineering college in mechanical engineering department.
Faculty
The faculty of my college is well experienced and supportive in nature. They are always ready to clear the doubt even after the class. They always motivate the students. They are like teacher cum friend. We always used to clear our any doubt.
