Remarks
Overall college gets things done. It should work on calling better companies for placement as the students here are more deserving than they get. The environment here shapes students to become self dependant.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is decent but I would call it way outdated. They must be in contact with the current industry requirements. But as Mumbai University controls the syllabus there isn't much the college can do. Labs practicals and exams are very efficient and modern. Days are hectic with 2hrs practicals and 7hrs lectures, most students don't attend the college for full day.
Placement Experience
The training and placement department is very forward and advanced and takes sessions and seminars everyday. College has internships and workshops everyday. Many opportunities to work with. Average stipend is around 6-7L p. a. Major companies visiting includes Amazon Byjus Accenture Infosys Endeavour etc.
College Events
There are numerous Technical Cultural fests including Rythm Ember etc. Students from many surrounding colleges and Atharva college attend it. It is fun and educational. There are exhibitions. We are able to see many goood projects and startups.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Compared to other colleges. The fee structure is very comforting. There are provisions (reservation) for backward castses. Also TFWS is available if student is applicable. There are scholarships for students applicable.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are offered to students with weaker annual income. Tuition fees waiver scheme is also available. Fee structure is feasible and doesn't require a loan. Although if needed, college helps all it can.
Campus Life
There are inter nation conferences. IEEE seminars. fests, workshops etc. Other casual activities involve parties dj nights proms. Crowd is mature and forward minded. There are committees specially for well being of people and country like NSS.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors are very helpful and informative. Alumini are all at very good spots in life. Seniors help us in day to day problems regarding the college. They are always ready to help us around the curriculum.
Admission
Merit list was based on Entrance exam like CET. We can also get in through JEE i. e. AIR. Choosing INFT was because of my prior interest around Computer Programming. Also the course gets good placement results.
Faculty
Faculty are not very great but as far as clearing the exam goes they are enough. Although we get very less extra knowledge/skills from them. Expectations are low. Students are self dependant. The feedback system for faculty is very effective and gets dynamic results.
