Remarks

No, there are no negative reviews for my college from my side. One can make a good use of the resources present in our college and develop himself / herself. In terms of negative review, the college faculty must encourage the students in the technical events and they should make students aware of the resources in college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is unchanged from many years. Though there are many resources, there is no proper body in my college to organise all these resources. Even our college employees are not aware of the resources available in the college. In research sector, our college is the best but again due to reason provided in the above statements, students are not aware of this. And regarding the exams and labs are not frequent. The exams are conducted once in two months and the end exams are conducted at the end of semester.

Placement Experience

4

Regarding placements and job opportunities, they are more in number compared to other colleges in our state. And I don't know why most of my seniors didn't prefer placements because they might have other goals such as research and further studies. And I think there will be no internship provided by our college for our course because opportunities for our course is less. But for other courseses such as Computer science and electronics, our college provides internships and they are less in number. I have done my internship by my own means in Indian Railways and there is no stipend. The point to be noted is the internship is not provided by my college.

College Events

2.5

There will be a technical fest organised by each department in our college. The technical fest is mostly during the mid march and the management gives responsibility of conducting the fest events to the final year students of the respective departments. This fest in our college involves and encourages the participation from students of 1st year to fourth year. But the point is our college is not much responsible to the events. They warn the students that they won't give the attendance to students who are busy in conducting events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible As our college is government funded college the fee is feasible to students. The fee is approximately 15000 for Day scholar students and more for Hostellers. The Fee structure comprises of the following. 1. Admission Fee. 2. Course Fee. 3. Library Fee. 4. Miscalleneous Fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, there is no scholarship provided by our college. The scholarships are provided by our state and central governments and I am availing the government scholarships. The state government gives scholarship worth 5000 to each meritorious students and similarly central government gives 10000 to meritorious students.

Campus Life

2.5

Yeah. There is lot of infrastructure in terms of extra curricular activities in our college and the students are making good use of it.Regarding Gender ratios and others the number of boys are equal to number of girls approximately in each course and there is no discrimination on basis of caste, creed, religion. Also there are many cultural activities organised by the student organisation such as JAC, ABVP, SFI etc.

Alumni/Alumna

No, there is no contacts between the alumni and me. We have only contacts with our passing out students of 2020 and some super seniors. Yes there are some means to contact alumni such as our alumni website etc.

Admission

I got admission in the college through EAMCET Exam. The admission process consist of three stages 1. Entrance Exam. 2. Certificate verification 3. College allocation. 4. Joining letter. I got the course B.Tech Mechanical Engineering in JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad. I choose the course Mechanical Engineering because I think it is better over other courses as it is evergreen sector.

Faculty

4.5

Our college faculty is the best faculty in our state. A student can clearly understand the concepts and practical approach is provided by our faculty. They are well qualified in terms of knowledge and you don't believe that many of them are currently working as technical advisor of many industries. In terms of faculty and their teaching, I can proudly say that our college is best in providing knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
