SJMIT, AN ADMINISTRATIVE FATE

Positive is good faculty and qualifues lecturers alumini strength, negative is politics of administrative factors and office staff is worst who bribes money from students for silly reasons for their mistakes also student have to make fees

Course structure is prescribed by vtu and it is quite relevant to the research view as we get internships and project in ciriculum, labs and exams were interesting in engineering as we used to get exposed to new questions it was a good experience which is must required for engineering, we used to prepare for the hardest inorder to face the exams.

Placements are not so good in college as administrative was not shown interest in placements, some of the IT branches got campus interviews but after campus interview some of the conpanues didnt sent call letter so it was the issue. stipend offered is max of 3lpa and some of voice process conpanies visited the colleges

College fest during month of march and april called as Spoorthi event and college sports project exihibition was conducted during this time, techincal seminars and vtu organized university level sports conducted

Fees structure is 45, 000 for Cet candidates and in first year they took 15000rs as college development fees and 4000 for bus pass. this was the fees structure and exam fees are seperate for the university exams

Vidhyasiri, karnataka e pass schlorships which are opted by govt are taken by students and loans facilties are also offered by banks and those are allowed by college and no schlorships are entertained by adminstartion

Good workshops techincal seminars and alumini meet was too good as college is NAAC accrediated it was good bunch of programmesand no discrimintion was done and gender ratios depend on branch overall college ratio was 60:40 wrt boys and girls

Ya alumini committe us very good at its unity many aluminis helped in campus and they used to send the vacncies and our college is from 1980 so we got good aluminis who are main reprenatatives of some of the comapany so we have good back strength of alumnis

Got selected through Common entrance exam and paid fees through kea and went to college for admission, submitted all marks card, basic documents, if cliaming caste reservation submit the relevant documents which are attested by gazeted officers

Faculties were good well qualified and they made use of new technologies to teach in unique way, a good platform to learn aspects and well equipeed knowledgable faculty to stay wuth them is a good opportunity for us.
