Remarks

Positive marks - good faculty,seniors,they provide good faculty and good things student may learn goood things and upgrade over communication skills and new thing will come in our university and our faculty upgrade our students during time to time

Course Curriculum Overview

According to me in my university they provides our students good facility and provide some courses like some cad & cam software which i never seen in some college and their exam structure is firstly midsemester exam then final and presentation,viva,external assessment are done before final exam

Placement Experience

Yes in last semester our college provide internship and placement for our students companies come our university andtake interview for everystudent and selected student get placed and some companies gives our student stipend or give training our students

College Events

In our university they celebrate all the events like holi,Diwalimela,and vasakhiand invite some guest in our university and give every student coupon to come and enjoy the day they give coupon or vochers at very less price around 300-400 and every year its happened

Fee Structure And Facilities

I told you our university fee structure depend upon students scholarship what he get if he got 90 % in +2 then he got 90 % scholarship then85% then80% under 60% student get scholarship and its is not too much expensive as compared to other universities

Fees and Financial Aid

ya they have good scholarship,scholarship depend upon student percentages and our college also provide loan faculty for our students they have good tieup with some education loan banks like hdfc and karur vihar bank. And it is so easy for our students

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities our university give very good facility provide for our students like volleyball,cricket,football,running and some sports activities are done in our university they celebrate sports day and Some special things and student participate which he want join.

Hostel Facilities

I never live in hostel but according to me hostel students asked me they give 1room and 2people share room and give everystudents 3 time food with different different dishes per days and they co-operate with students if students facing any problem then get inform hod of hostel and find better solution.

External Expense: Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes senior guides our junior and they share our experience what you want to do when you come in my stage and juniors get knowledge and they help us for exam criteria and give us knowledge. they teach us like big brother.

Admission

Its depend upon my percentage of diploma then i got admission in this university and they give me scholarship according to my marks and then i choose mechanical and automation stream in this college and get started b.tech

Faculty

my faculty communicates our student very well but i really told some faculty member doesn't think about some future it is really bad thing if you are staff then you bother all students equally but our faculty coperate with us if i gave my faculty communicates with over stuents then i gave 7 marks out of 10 i think all colleges has same issue

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.

Likes

The most appreciated aspect was the quality of teaching in classroom. There were structured planning for studies and exam preparations.
The campus was peaceful and the college celebrated every cultural event very enthusiatically covering interest of students belonging from various traditional backgrounds across India.
There was wide spread interest both from students and faculty side for promoting extra cirricular activites and talent.

Dislikes

The way a student raises a complain can be improved.
To allot extra hours for extra acirricular activites.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great for tech and core domains. Alomost every students gets to sit in placement following the eligibilty critera. Many students get double placed and there is a placement policy which allows fare chances of placement to every student.

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

I choose this university because of good repotation and this university is situated approx 30 kilometrs away from my village which ables me easy for daily commuting . i do not applied on another colleges because they are expensive which is not affordable for me and my family . Some good's and bad's of GNA University

I want to do B.Tech in robotics and automation engineering but this branch of engineering is not available in all the college because in all over the Ludhiana there is no college who has this branch of engineering and suddenly I called GNA university and asked that if they have that branch of engineering they said yes.
