Remarks

If you are interested in studies alone and are ready to miss out the college fun like events and parties this college is one of the best .

Entrance Preview

Amrita entrance examination, i got a rank of 6559. My sister had studied in the same college and referred by her.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was comparable to the IIT standards. The exams were very challenging. In first yr of the college, the subjects are common for all the departments, but not all topics were covered. More importance were given to non academic subjects. From the next year the stream courses starts. And its similar to the IIT syllabus.

Internships Opportunities

No there is no internship provided by the college. The students have to search for it individually.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college has a separate department for this, Where they give training specifically for the placements exam like aptitude and GD and Resume preparation. All types of companies come to the campus Mass recruiters and companies like Google and Microsoft. If you have the right cutoff CGPA you can sit in those respective companies. The Package for mass recruiters is in the range of 2.5L to 3.5L and the companies like google and Microsoft offered around 10L to 15L . I dont remember the exact amount.

College Events

1

We dont have many cultural events conducted in the college except the freshers party and the krishna jayanthi. The technical events are conducted separately for each department. They are not inter college festival. So the amount of participation is also less .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fees has been increased recently so i dont know the current amount . During my college year i had payed 1.5L per year. They are bit costly because you dont have so many facilities for this amount like there is not AC in hostel and not WIFI .

Fees and Financial Aid

No loan is provided as far as i know.NO scholarship is provided as far as i know. The fees is very costly compared to other colleges with the same facilities provided.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio is almost 1.1 . The campus location is very good as its present below mountains. So it has a beautiful view. You can forget about dorm parties. The college has not discrimination based on gender, ethnicity race religion. They provide value education. There are not much sports training provided in the college. We have a basketball, football and cricket team. Basically the students train themselves.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel is very strict for the Girls you need lots of permission to go out for the weekend . For boys its bit relaxed once you go to the second year. The food is hygienic but not tasty enough . The canteen food also sucks and its costly . Non Veg is no

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is not very good. As a graduated student myself, i have not been contacted yet for the alumni network .

Exam Structure

We do have surprise test often which are added in the internals . The lab exams happen once in 2months, which are also added in the internals . the semester exams are kept on the same week for all the subjects, so you dont have any preparation time in bet

Faculty

3

In every department has the same problem, there are two types of faculties in each extreme. One who takes really knows the subject and the one who acts like he knows. On average i think the level of teachers should increase. But as a average student i am
