Remarks

Our College is awesome. I really had a great experience in my college life.All faculties were very friendly. The college had a quite a big playground for sports lover.It had big library that can accumulate almost 5000 students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The staff's were pretty good.They taught us very well and it was more fun.Though ECE branch syllabus was quite lengthy but had great fun in learning and exploring new things with friends.we learnt the importance of one night study during college exams.Somewhat there was more pressure on us during exams because of lengthy syllabus but we learnt to perform well even in such situations. Rest everything was chilled.

Placement Experience

Placements is quite good in our college.No the college didn't provide internship.But it did provided us Buissness speaking course through cambridge faculties.Almost 80% who graduated got placed in campus placements.

College Events

The college conducts different cultural fest like ethnic day.It organizes 3 days college fest every year similar to annual function. In college fest different programs are conducted,extra curricular activities like Djs,fashion show and on the final day there is live concert of famous singer.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is different for different candidates Fee is different Candidates who came through comedk,karnataka CET and management quota.Eg. candidates who came through karnataka CET have very LESS fee around 35k per annum while candidates through Comedk and management quotas have high fees around 1.65 Lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college didn't provided any scholarship even for deserving candidates.But it do gives medals and prizes annually for students who are performing well in their academic careers.The college didn't provide any loan facilities as well

There are many extra curricular activities like ethnic day,workshops conducted during our academic year.Gender ratios are almost 1:1.Fresher PARTIES are organized every year for freshers.There is no any discrimination against any criteria in college.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel infrastructure is quite good.The hostel rooms are much bigger as compared to other hostels.It has basketball court,table tennis court etc.The hostel also has Gym facilities.one hostel room have three beds.Food provided I hostel was average as taste was not that good.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors were quite friendly and very encouraging.They motivated us a lot.we learnt a lot of things from them.They were always ready to help us.I remember I was always told to stay away from strangers but our college friends and seniors made me realize that even strangers can turn into family.

Admission

I wrote comedk exam and I got good rank and so in the first round only I got admission in JSS College, Bangalore.My dream was always to become an electronics and communication engineer so I Choose ECE branch

The faculties were highly qualified and very professional.They know how to explain the topics and they used to give us more assignments to make us practice well and perform well during exams.Some faculties were strict but some were very cool.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Best location of college in the silicon valley of India

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

I applied to many college like sjbit,global ,jnnce,pes,rv,bms and many more They above were all need a higher grade than what I had scored. Jss was near to my home and i had a direct bus root for the college and it has a big campus and a lot of good grades form the students to back it up I couldn't get into bms ,pes or rv because my grades weren't good enough. I chose this college because it's near to my house and I personally feel it's better than all the colleges in the vicinity, which includes RNSIT and SJBIT. I applied for Jee mains but i did'nt got good rank then i applied for COMEDK and i got cse in this college for 18k rank, I choose this college as compared to other private colleges here only limited number of students are there in cse so the competition is not very high Admission processes for our college is simple you have to go through COMEDK counselling there will be three rounds in every round you will have 4 options of freeze seat, accept and upgrade, reject and upgrade, reject.
