Remarks

Amity is facing tough competition from other Colleges, and it needs to meet the expectations people have from its brand name. Providing facilities for extra curricular activities cannot be the sole objective. You needs to excel in academics first and then in rest.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course structuring is poor and needs extensive review. The education focus is not at par with other universities. Law being a dynamic subject, needs periodical review and revision which unfortunately is not being undertaken at amity.

Placement Experience

1.5

I am yet to experience the placement services of amity. However, from what i have heard within the College, the placement services are poor and not upto the mark. There are few opportunities available. No amity does not provide internship facilities.

College Events

4

Amity organises a variety of cultural and technical events. In this area, amity does meet its expectations. From youth fests to international mooting competitions, there is absolutely no doubt that you will have plenty of opportunity to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Amity is charging approximately 7.5 lacs for a 3 year LLB graduation course. Every 6 months a payment of approximately 1.5 lacs is made which keep decreasing by 20,000 after every payment. Amity also provides scholarship facilites to deserving candidates. This in comparison to other universities is expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Amity provides partial and full scholarship for the deserving candidates. If you have scored a required percentage in your school or prior graduation, accordingly your fee requirements will be reduced.

Campus Life

4

Amity provides a wide array of facilities when it comes to sports. You have swimming pools, shooting ranges, squash courts, football/cricket fields. This is one of the few aspects where amity meets the expectations. Also there is equal opportunities for both boys and girls and no gender discrimination is done.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I have not opted for the hostel facilities at amity. However, the hostels appear to be good and comfortable. There are a lot of facilties for students within the campus. However, the hostel facilities are expensive as compared to others.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of amity is extremely helpful. The alumni and senior students take care of their juniors. The faculty is also very friendly, cordial and helful beyond expectations. There are various occasions where i have interacted with the alumni and they have given me guidance about career objectives and strategies to be applied in College.

Admission

I gave D.U. Law faculty entrance which i could not clear. Hence, my next option left was amity only. All other universities were relatively new and there was less credibility for those universities in delhi area.

Faculty

2

Faculty retention is poor in this College. Having unexperienced faculty will not create quality education. With experienced faculty leaving at frequent intervals, the quality of educationis bound to go down.

Placement Experience:

I'm in the final semester, college placement process has started, we have a very good and dedicated corporate resources cell that looks after placement and internships, we were provided internships with the best NGO's in the initial years and then with Supreme court lawyers. We were also offered a stipend for a few internships so as to cover up daily expenses.

Overall experience of the campus is very good. I really enjoy the studies as well as other extra-curricular activities. I am glad that I took admission here as I experience many things that I wouldn't have been able to experience in any other university. Nice friendly and peaceful atmosphere in the campus makes it the best campus. Although the placements is still a worry for us but lets hope we get the best results.
