It's a great institution with a huge infrastructure. I love KIIT for it's eco friendly campus. Life in KIIT is beautiful as academic and socially. But I think my biggest challenge to survive here is food. I hate my mess food it's too bad for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am currently in 3rd year B.Tech student in Computer Science Engineering. The university has a good infrastructure and good facilities out there. The labs are well equipped with handsome numbers of lab assistants.
Placement Experience
There are so many companies come for the campus recruitment process. The college also provides internships. The students who wants to go with the higher studies, college also helpful for them too.And the students who wants to be an antreprenor and come up with their start up ideas college also helpful for them too.
College Events
There are so many events organised by our college like sports events, technical events, cultural events and so on. The KIITFEST is such a big event the students from different cities and colleges join in the fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is one of the expensive colleges in India. The fee structure is not feasible. We have to pay 150000 for every semester for the academic. And along with hostel and mess fee it approx 1600000 in 4 years which is quite expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship available for the bright students according to the rank of the entrance exam. I don't have any clear details about loan part may be loans available here. But am sure about the scholarship.
Campus Life
There are so many facilities for a student to groom himself. There are many cultural, sports and various types of activities conducting by the college. There is a KSAC which is basically KIIT Student Activity Centre, this helps students to join in various groups and events.
Hostel Facilities
I'm live in college hostel. The hostel rooms are divided into Ac and non Ac rooms. I live in non Ac hostel. The hostel rooms are shared with 3 students. Rooms are airy and good to live. Hostels are clean and hygienic. But mess foods are not so good as per my opinion.
Alumni/Alumna
The Kiit is a ragging free campus. The siniors and juniors are helping each other. Siniors are very helpful for juniors for their studies. Seniors are also very helpful for suggesting about the carrier opportunities.
Admission
There was an entrance exam named KIITJEE. According to our rank we got admission.I am currently in 3rd year B.Tech student in Computer Science Engineering and choose this course because am highly interested in Software.
Faculty
The faculties are highly qualified with good communication skills. They are very interactive and always helpful towards the students. The classes are not so boring when these kind of faculties around you.
