Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is best. The college helps us to develop our mind in many ways. There is practical for mostly all topics what we are learning daily in class. College intensively organize industrial visit for us every month. The regular competition like quiz, project making goes on every time in the college.

Placement Experience

The college has very good placement record. Mostly 75percent students got jobs from campus only. College faculty provide intership 3 time in course. First of 1 month, second intern is 45 days, and third one is of 6 months. The student is free to take internship from company, college or any other Institute.

College Events

Mostly all technical, cultural, management and other religious festival takes place in regular interval of time. Some of the festival or function that is remember are : Mossac, Sports meet, Fresher party, Lohri day celebration, sukhmani sahib path and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College provide 100 percent fee transparency. Except cash college mostly except all mode of payment i.e Netbanking, Demand draft, etc No additional fee except curriculum fee is to be paid to college. My B. Tech course fees per semester is 74000, In which 42000 is course fee and 32000 is hostel fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't opted for any scholarship. But college provide very good scholarship scheme to students which are good in academic field, or which belongs to poor family.

Campus Life

Campus life is very wonderful life. In this college students of every state comes And there is no race, discrimination on the basis of religion, gender, state, caste color etc. Many extracurricular activities held at regular interval of time like sports, music competition.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I have taken hostel. Hostel room is very neat and clean All facility like warm water, doctor, tailor, laundry, etc is there. Properly sanitization of room takes place. no quarrel takes place. Mess food is average.

College alumni and senior students are very helpful in our daily life. As they guide us at every step of our couse.

Admission

As I scored less marks in 12th class so I choose this college. This college Is situated near Chandigarh so that is also the factor so that i have choose this college. Admission process is that you should be passed in class 12 And, small formalities like :medical form, etc

Faculty

Faculty is very very excellent. Most of all hold industrial experience which helps the student to develop and helps in being professional in his field. Near about 6 lectures are taken daily or as per curriculum given by university. The teachers are very friendly with students so which help the students to clear there doubt easily

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus

Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
