Remarks
Some subjects are very tuff in first year. The campus area is quite big of almost 600 acres. All type of sports is available to play. The first years are provided with separate hostel from seniors. Almost ragging free campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is okay. Some subjects in first year are tuff enough to score good marks. The exam structure is also good but the thing I dont like is there is no gap of days between some exam making it difficult to study.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are good here. Many good companies come here to hire students. Companies like Microsoft had come in past. Isro also gave placement here.i have not done any intership as I am in first year.
College Events
There is a small list of events. Autumn fest also the technical fest called INNOVISION. Then spring fest of cultural fest called NITRUTSAV. Others fests are also there but not as popular as these two.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For a student from poor family like me the fee structure is very expensive. I am having an educational loan for giving fees in my opinion the fee structure is fine as it differs according to the annual family income of student.
Fees and Financial Aid
College offer some fee waiver depending upon annual income of family. Still its hard for a poor guy like me to afford this cost. So I have availed an educational loan from the bank in the campus itself to pay the fees.
Campus Life
There is physical education and NSS in first year in extra curriculum. All sports are also available as per our interest. NCC is also there from first year itself and only the selected can become a regular cadet for 3 years.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are fine. But some rooms are of big size which is actually okay for 2 students but some are small in size thus making it uncomfortable to live in hostel also have several indoor games as well as outdoor games facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
Some seniors are helpful while others are not. Some do raaging but to a very little extent. Alumus helps the current students and there activities by providing sponsorship and other sort of help.alumnus are really inspiring.
Admission
We have to pass the JEE MAIN entrance xam. And then we have to apply online our interested colleges and branches in order of our priorities. Then according to our rank and cast we get seats. After that we have to do the admission.
Faculty
Faculties are fine here. As diversity is everywhere so some of the professors are good in teaching while some are not. But almost all are qualified. Overall faculties are okay.some are very friendly too.
