Remarks

Please concentrate on bringing more good companies where students' growth is assured.Encourage extra curricular activities. Allow teachers to teach and not to train for marks.Respecf staffs and pay them properly. Hostellers are not sacrificial goats stop treating them like that.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Curriculum is from Anna university and is very outdated.I am a 2018 passed out graduate and IBM was the only MNC that came for on-campus placements. They promise 100% placements but other tha. IBM all other companies which they bring to campus are startups which were ready to pay only 6000-8000 for engineering graduates. The college does have a lot of technical clubs but not fully fledged in service. The college does not encourage extra-curricular activities. They take for industrial visits once in a year or semester only to a nearby substation fod one to two hour and does not care if the students are benefited by it.They only make sure that the pass percentage does not fall.

Placement Experience

1

They assure 100% placement but the only good MNC with a decent package is IBM, all other companies or either BPOs which is of no use or startups which were ready to pay only 6000-8000. Amount of internships they provide to students is nil.Even if the students find for themselves getting permission for that is a very tidious process and if you are a hosteller u'll have to cry and roll.

College Events

0.5

The don't encourage extra curricular activities. Even they don't fund enough for technical symposiums. The students have to put from their pocket.Out of four years of my under graduation only once culturals was conducted. And it was only a inter college Culturals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee is as per anna university norms.but you ll have to pay for college bus and mess of you are dayscholar and hostel and mess if you are a hosteller.bus and mess is a must for dayscholars even of your in the next street you will have to pay atleast 20k.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I haven't Opted for educational loan.there are scholarships that are facilitated by government.

Campus Life

2.5

Based on the departments the gender ratios differ. In biotechnology there are lot of girls whild in Mechanical and Electrical the boys ratio is more.As already said the college does not encourage extra curricular activities. They do have a cultural club which is good for nothing.

Hostel Facilities

2

Yes, I am a hosteller. Who are the most pathetic creatures in the college. The quality of food was worse after the principal change. For whatever special class or extra classes they organize for slow learners they inclde the hostellers also irrespective of their academic performance. You have to loitter fod two days for Getting an outpass for going home.excluding the course fee you have to pay 1 lakh for hostel and mess alone which is not worth for a penny.

Alumni/Alumna

They organize alumni meet every year and have a very interactional sections with them which is appreciatable.

Admission

EEE has got a lot of oppurtunities in both governement and private sector. I chose this college on a friend's suggestion.I was admitted through counselling as per Anna university norms. There are also management seats which is mostly filled by andhra students. The fees is also higher for students with management seats.

Faculty

4

Some of the senior faculties have indepth knowledge.other than that there are quite a lot of young lecturers who doesn't have any industry expereince but manage to make students understand. The hard truth is sometimes they hold the salaries of the staffs due to which many excellent professors have left the college. They even throw the staff out if they doesn't produce the bench mark result irrespective of the experience they hold and subject knowledge they have.

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
