Remarks
Overall exposure of the college is enough to give a holistic perspective of the real world to prepare the managers to tackle every problem arising. College has a very large batch which makes it harder for the students to get a consistent placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
PGDM course include a lot of subjects related to business field specific to branches like Operations & supply chain management, Finance, Marketing and Human Resources. Curriculum include pedagogy thourough case study, presentations and a lot of group activities. Exams were once per semester but there were a lot of assignments and presentations given during the semester.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good. There is a dedicated committee which works year long to provide good opportunities to the students. I got internship in Shopinc. com in Dubai, UAE. I got a monthly stipend of 2000 AED.
Fee Structure And Facilities
PGDM core- 18 Lakhs. PGDM DCP- 23 Lakhs. Fee structure is a little but expensive as compared to the overall post graduation fees of other courses. But when compared among B schools only it is worth the exposure.
Fees and Financial Aid
Mahendra Nath memorial scholarship is given to meritorious students of the batch during the end of first year. College is under premium institutes category which makes it easier to get a loan from any national bank.
Campus Life
Gender ration is 1:3(girls to boys). College prefers diversity. All religions are welcome and appreciated equally. There is a good mix of students from all of India. Even though the college is situated in north, there is a good number of students from south, west and east.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is twin sharing. Single rooms are also allowed during the secind year. All the rooms are fully air conditioned and the mess is very airy and spacious. Hostels are enough for all the students in fact one more hostel in under construction.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a dedicated alumnI committee which helps the current students in all professional fields during the college and even after that. Seniors visit the college during various events and conduct advisory sessions with the students.
Admission
I wanted to pursue management course so I chose MBA and wrote CAT for it. I scored 91. 56 percentile in the exam and got a call from IMT Ghaziabad for its further rounds which include critical thinking, Group exercise and personal interview. After clearing all the rounds I got admission in the college in year 2018. It has been a wonderful experience since then.
Faculty
All the faculties are highly skilled and educated. Lot of guest lectures are conducted inviting industry experts. Some of the guest faculties take additional sessions during the term to give real life industry insights.
