Management is just okay. Good thing is things don't get delayed like other govt colleges. Bad thing is everything is routine here.
So course curriculum is pretty good. We have curriculum mostly same as IIT-K. We have semester based system where in each semester we have around 5-7 subjects. There are 2 exams in each semester that is mid-sem and end-sem. Mid-sem - 30 marks (20 for lab subjects) End-sem - 50 marks (40 for lab subjects) Internal - 15 marks. Attendance - 5 marks. Lab marks - 20 (only for lab subjects)
At our time, there was no placement expect through pool campus. Some of my friends got job through pool campus. But I think now things have changed for better. A few companies visited last year.
There is a tech event TECHMART, cultural event Spandan. There used to be lots of politics around events like who will conduct these events. There are various cultural and sports event by university (among all colleges that are affiliated to university).
Fee structure is pretty feasible. At our time it used to be 53k. I guess right now it is around 70k. You can pay fee in two installments. Also you may chose to not pay at all if you are applying for scholarship. You will be given proper fee breakdown and receipt. Insurance is part of fee structure and you will be given a cashless card for treatment in some 20 hospitals across city.
You can avail scholarship given by state govt. You can chose not to pay fee if you are applying for scholarship. In that case, once you get scholarship, you will have to pay fee from that. In case you don't get scholarship, you have to pay fee before exam.
Campus life is good. You can play in stadium or walk down the university as it has plenty of space. It has trees all around so it feels good to see so much of greenery. Once can't compare about gender ratio. There are various robotics or other technical events all around the year.
During first year, I used to live in hostel. I had to leave hostel during 2nd year for 2 reasons - 1. Dirty toilet 2. Bad food. Otherwise hostel in pretty good. If you can get room with attached washroom, that would be great. Rooms are on double sharing basis. Furniture's are good. You can find PG ranging from 1500 to 3500. There are some good tiffin services also.
You can interact you in campus seniors, they will be more than helpful. There is also concept of parent-id. So somebody who used to hold your roll no. last year will be your parent id and wi guide you, provide notes and exam papers everything. Alumni network is good as of now. You can connect alumni on whatsapp group.
Admission is based on UPSEE rank. My rank was low so I couldn't make it. Few seats are left vacant after official UPSEE counseling, that college fill up by own. I waited till then. Mailed my application once they updated on university site that seats are vacant. Only few branches had vacant seats, like Chemical, IT and MSME. I chose IT as I was more interested in computers.
So here it gets bad. So old faculties are damn good. But faculties that have been hired in last 5-6 years are not up to the mark. Some of them just don't have basic understanding of things. And some don't even speak proper english. I had 7-8 lecturers in my course.

I got admission through personal interview and direct (PCM) i.e. 70% in the CSE branch.

One bad thing is ...they impose a lots of fine on even a small mistake.... Like plucking if a flower could cause you to pay of around 10,000

The good remarks for the college is management is really good and one thing is management should focus a little more on student's placement and job opportunity.
Everything is good but little weak in alumni activities
