Remarks
I don't think there was anything wrong happened to be there, apart from those teacher's punishment of extra assignments but that was too a good thing for any students that's how we will get to learn the way of life.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good, the exam is on a semester basis, as I was pursuing M.tech from there and it was 2 year course. The exams was held after every 5 months. And there are three tests in each semester on basis of that the cgpa is calculated.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are good most of the students get placed or get into a job as it is one of the reputed institutes. They even have foreign study programs too, in which students can study overseas for a short period of time. They do provide a stipend for the M.tech student and Ph.D. scholars. The overall experience was amazing.
College Events
There are cultural fests and tech fests and they celebrate each and every festival in the university. Moreover, they organize small fests almost every Saturday. There are clubs of students who host their respective fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is a bit expensive for the B.tech course and if you want to join for M.tech. or Ph.D. course then the fee structure is feasible. I personally paid 40000/ semester for my MTech course which is I think feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know much about that, but there is some concession for the students who hold good marks in the JEE or GATE exam and moreover if someone belongs to the family who is not financially strong even for them there are some facilities so that they can bear to study here.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is equal, there are several places in the university where students can have a party and where they can spend time, there are students from outside India too which makes it diverse, there is no discrimination on any gender or color or religion.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are the best that I ever experienced, the hostels are provided with almost all the facilities. If someone wants to stay alone in the room then you can even get that by paying a little extra amount. The internet facility is amazing, the food is amazing, there are heaters in the room that one can get help with during the winters.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the students are really very cooperative and very nice. Before joining this University I have already completed BTech from the Chandigarh-based college but the experience I got from here was way far from the previous one, as the aura was amazing there, I learned a lot there.
Admission
I appeared for the entrance exam which is organized by University itself and from there they shortlist the students as per the merit. The shortlisted candidates can then get into the course they desired.
Faculty
The faculty is very talented and most of them are hailed from the NIT's and IIT's. In my opinion, the faculty is the best that any can find in any private college. I personally recommend this University.
