I don't think there was anything wrong happened to me there, apart fro those teacher's punishment of extra assignments but that was too a good thing for any students that's how we will get tk learn the way of life
The course curriculum is good, the exam is on semester basis, as i was pursuing M.tech from there and it was 2 year course. The exams was held after every 5 months. And there are thouree tests in each semester on basis of that the cgpa is calculated
The placements and job opportunities are good most of the students get placed or get into job as it is one of the reputed institute. They even have foreign study program too, in which student can study overseas for a short period of time. They do provide stipend for the M.tech student and PHD scholars. The overall experience was amazing.
There are cultural fests and tech fests and they celebrate each and every festival in the university. Moreover they organize small small fests on almost every Saturday. There are clubs of students who hosts thier respective fests.
The fee structure is bit expensive for the B.tech course and if you want to join for M.tech. or PHD course then the fee structure is feasible. I personally paid 40000/ semester for my MTech course which is I think feasible.
I don't know much about that, but there is some concession for the students who holds good marks in the JEE or GATE exam and moreover if someone belongs to the a family who is not financially strong even for them there are some facilities so that they can bear to study here
Gender ratio is equal, there are several places in the university where students can have party and where they can spend time, there are students from outside India too which makes it diverse, there is no discrimination on any gender or color or religion
The hostels are the best that i ever experienced, the hostels are provided with almost all the facilities. If someone wants to stay alone in room then you can even get that by paying a little extra amount. The internet facility is amazing, the food is amazing, there are heaters in the room that one can get help during the winters.
Yeah the students are really very cooperative and very nice. Before joining this University i have already completed BTech fromt the Chandigarh based college but the experience i got from here was way far from the previous one, as the aura was amazing there, i learned alot there
I appeared for the entrance exam which is organised by University itself and from there they shortlist the students as per the merit. The shortlisted candidates can then get into the course they desired
Faculty is very talented and most of them are hailed from the NIT's and IIT's. From my opinion the faculty is the best that any can find in any private college. I personally recommend this University.
Here no placement. But sometimes company have come but no guarantee this company give jobs. many students are applying for a job in offline mode or externally. We, students, are eligible for the job in the 7th sem. Some of the senior work at TCS, Amazon which is a good and big company. At present my friend is work for an AVL company .so they are applying for a job in offline mode. these students got job their hardworking self studies and faculty support. So this college is best for studying and provide self confidence.
Most probably the average number of students who end up getting placed at good companies through the organization of various placement drives by our college is somewhat around 60-70%. The probability of getting a worth the appreciation placement totally depends upon the sheer factors of what kind of marks you were able to secure on an overall basis and in what precise type of extra- curriculum activities you've been indulging in and what all internships you ended up being a part of and last but not the least what kind of image you were able to develop in the perception of your faculty and other college staff that with what perspective the faculty is looking up to you. If we are able to present ourselves with that sense of optimism involved in it we would surely be able to secure ourselves a nice job in a reputed company. The precise long-term goal I'm clinging to is to pursue my post-graduation in MBA and then I would be looking forward to securing myself a well-reputed job.
Most of the students in B.Ed come basically for the Government opportunities. But still, the college organizes placement for other courses and if you have the required degree, you can genuinely participate in the interview. The WhatsApp groups do update us about private school vacancies and job updates.
last but not least I have seen in many colleges that students don't get a chance to meet management. Here you can meet easily with MD, Chairman, Director, etc. and can tell your problems. In short, it is overall a good college with a very economical fee structure.
College is good but needs to change and develop a lot to meet the current standards of studies and research.
