Course Curriculum Overview

Since I am getting graduation from Computer Science it is must that one gets a very good industry specific knowledge and the way person has to develop his/her skills and I'm happy that it is provided by our college in a good way to perform well and making a better professional.

Placement Experience

Since the need of technological students the companies that visit our campus is more. Infosys,Tech Mahindra, TCS, Axis Bank, Practo, HashedIn, IBM, Verzeo, and many more companies recruit students. Nearly 80% of the students are placed each year from the college.

College Events

We basically have two techno-cultural fest named Colosseum and Melange in odd and even semester respectively. Apart from that there will be programs conducted by each department. Fests will be having footfall of nearly 2500-3500 students in every fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fees is very feasible compared to other colleges in Bengaluru. Transparency is provided by the management and fee-breakdown is provided in the list of payment. Payment of fee is thourough cash, bank or UPI. There is thouree levels of fee one is for the CET and SNQ and Management.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship facilities are provided from the college. Karnataka e-pass for OBC students ranging from 17600-19000 based on the merit and for SC ST is 55000.

Campus Life

Campus Life is very good, students from other cities, States and countries travel here to study thier favourite courses. Gender ratio is nearly 3:1 (boy:girl). Students are encouraged to take part in social activities like NCC and other environmental activities that help is build our character. Ethnic day is conducted to support the unity in diversity policy which help students to showcase their culture. Economic status of the college is quite good providing free education for the students who are needy.

Alumni/Alumna

Each year they conduct alumni association meeting for the students who passed from our college. They come to college and connect themselves to the people who are currently studying and give their ideas and experiences they possess. They are felicitated in case they achieved something big and make them to meet students and express their involvement in particular field.

Admission

I wrote Common Entrance Test ie CET in Karnataka. Based on the ranks I got this college and later I chose CSE based on value that has in this college and entire Karnataka. Based on the list I got admitted to this college thourough option entry offered by the government.

Faculty

We have nearly 45 well trained lecturers in our CSE department. Average age being 35 who should be qualified after doing M.tech in particular field and they too have entrance test and mock lecturing conducted and students are allowed to rate them. Thier hierarchy is based on qualification that each person possesses. Person is high qualification ie PhD is top rated.

Likes

Making it compulsory to do projects from first year onwards and emphasizing on publishing papers which are good for longer run
Skill labs is fun and useful (in general for most branches)
No ragging, students are not discriminatory and are helpful

Dislikes

Though projects are good, at times it becomes difficult to manage so many at the same time
During CIE's, there are 2 exams on one day which makes it tough
Some teachers dont follow marks breakdown and give marks as they feel. Especially for lab manuals.. they dont check the manual and put random marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

The maintenance of campus is good ,and the college events , and the teaching level is also excellent and the particular student have there own mentor they guide in each thing
The way they support us encourge us for our success and support in every situation and also support to the students in placment or training opportunities
If we lack or we are in problem they will support to come out if that with good solution

Dislikes

the college is not too strict for that reason the students may spoil easily
the ratio of our college is like 60:40 that is the majority are boys , and the college fan are slow which cause problem in summer
the college washrrom are not clean that cause problem,lack if industry

Placement Experience:

At the 6 th semester the students are eligible for placements and compaines visited our college are cloud fabric , crafty sogo , congnizent and some training like v tech , qspriders , pentagon space,alpheoleo , medini and some more the highest package is 5 lakh and the lowest is 3 lakh . around 10 to 15 students have been placed from cse dept after the degree i have one good salary job so to settle my life

I like the fact that our faculties are pretty good
Campus is very green and classes are provided with smart boards
Students are competitive and hardworking more focus on studies

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very decent not so wow

So from 5 th semester you are eligible to apply for an internship and after 6 th sem or ending you can sit for the full time roles , so as of now highest package is 28 lpa and lowest may be 5 lpa almost 95 percentage of students get placed . I "ll be doing job after my college

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs

Things I liked it’s a friendly people and seniors are also good here they help to study very well
Another thing I liked that no uniform is there and the college timing is also good
All sir and mam are friendly and exam type is good

They not focusing on the sports activities
The college campus is very small it’s just of 8 acres
The ratio of boys girls is 2:1 in the college

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is great like and avg package is 100000 and it's in campus from 2st semester only the students become eligible for campus placement. Flipkart,TCL and aml many more companies came the highest package in 2023 got of 52 lakh in AIMl and the avg package is 10 lakh. The percentage of the students getting placements is 60-70% my plans after getting the degree to do master in abroad

Likes

It's a good environment in the college and spacious classrooms
There is no sort of ragging all the seniors are super friendly
Good teaching staff they help in all fields

Dislikes

No proper management for the events and attendance for the students taking part

Placement Experience:

Campus selections are available companies like TCS,wipro and many more come to our college do the campus selection the highest package was 1,25,000 and the lowest was 55,000 almost more than half of the students get placed during the campus selections and the rest by the end of the course get a job

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

The campus is very good , it is peaceful , it has the best environment for a student to pursue his studies
The faculties are highly qualified , most of the faculties (lecturers) are PHD holders. They've got plenty of experience to share their knowledge with the students
We've got plenty of opportunities to improve our skills , lecturers gives us more space to solve our doubts.

Dislikes

For a B-tech college it is new , we are still expecting the campus placements
The campus is a bit underrated for a B-tech college

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

What i most lile about this collage is its infrastructure styl
It has a very good environment lile very green
It even has a ganapati temple in the campus

Dislikes

Water quality is hostel is not good like not filterd properly
Hot water supply is only in morning not at all time
And i dont personally hate anything on the campus

Placement Experience:

The placement in the college are very good actually like more then 300 companies have visited the college and more then 950 jobs have been offered to the students companies like infosys, tcs, wallmart, global tech india, accenture, visa, dell technology, intel etc and mass recruter are companies lile infosys and tcs which gove 50+ and 60+ offers respectively. And last year there where 8 students who got 64 lpa and in which four(4) students where from information science and engineering that is our department. Our department is very good and if you take information science you can get a very good job

AMC ENGINEERING COLLEGE, BENGALURU.

I choose AMC because of its good campus size area which is 52 acres which is big campus in bengaluru, good behaviour of teachers means friendly behaviour, also its infrastructure. I chosen amc over other colleges is because I got that much rank which i was getting this college and many more colleges. But also i chosen amc because other colleges don't have big campus area. Eligibility criteria is 60% in 12th. Admission mode is available by all the methods like- you can appear in comedk, or appear in kcet(for Karnataka people) or also you can take admission through management quota which will charge you some higher money. If you've 30,000 rank in comedk means you can get CSE in this college. Or also if you qualified JEE main then you can get direct admission in this college. That's it!...Read More

All you need to know about AMC

The eligibilty for the course is atleast to have a percentage of 60 and above and have a decent amount of percentage in the main subjects in the previous examinations. The application and all the other details of the fees are found in the admission block of the college. I have not applied for any reservation benefits, so I don't have much idea about it. The exams occur every 6 months per semester and there are 2 internal and lab exams per semester. Their difficulty with the exams is at an above-average level. The questions in the exams are almost repeated and it is easy to revise for the exams.
