Course Curriculum Overview

College curriculum is very nice. In a semester of 6 months, 1 formative assessment test is conducted, and another test, i.e. summative assessment is conducted. Based on the marks obtained on these tests, student is evaluated for his/her SGPA of that particular semester.

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is better than the other private colleges in Bhubaneswar. Different companies like cap Gemini, Amazon, Deloitte, Robert Bosch, Highouradius come for placements.

There are different events around the globe that are celebrated in our University. All the events of our country, India, is also celebrated with high charm and grace. It is also to be noted that almost everyday one or the other event is going on in the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, the college provides transparency in fee breakdown. The fees of the college, annually is divided as follows:— Course fee:— ?3,00,000 Hostel fee:— ?42,000 Mess fee:— ?35,000 Exam fee:— ?2,000 This is our entire fee structure for one year. According to the expenses, qualities are also maintained.

Fees and Financial Aid

Student loan can be easily availed. At the time of admission, they will provide you with the entire fees receipt mentioning that the amount can be taken on loan from any bank.

Campus Life

Campus life is highly supportive. Starting from gym labs swimming pools badminton court volleyball court basketball court hockey ground cricket ground football ground and many others are well maintained. Different kind of societies are also there. KIIT has done meaning opportunities for the students to show their extravaganza.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I have opted for hostel. Hostel seats are barely filled. There are almost printer number of seats in the hostel for students to stay. You can also stay in PG.they are also available at cheaper rates nearby.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are. Senior students have successfully passed out of the college. Most of them are placed in various popular places.

Admission

To get admission in this college, I've appeared for the KITEE exam on 2018. How to apply for KIITEE exam, you could visit KIIT's official website and register there. This exam is generally conucted online in April end. And almost all can join the college.

Faculties of our respective subjects teach in the teaching hours. If you have any doubt we can contact them anytime except our teaching hours. We can contact them thourough phones. Almost all the teacher have industry experience and have certification in training at different places,

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Likes

I like enhance my knowledge in computer and technology. I like to learn new ideas in google sheet and AI.
I like hiking and campaign in forest and mountain. And to go in long drive on bike.
Exploring new things which I don't know finding reason on natural phenomenon.

Dislikes

I dislike to follow people blindly. And doing as same
I dislike to worship god visit temple and any regional place.
I dislike to stay at home on vacation or holiday

After completion of 6 th semester candidates are eligible for campus selection. The highest you get around 20Lac per annum and minimum 5 Lac per annum. Around 30 % student get placed each year. Posco, sas motors, jindal, are coming company

My college is best

Likes

Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Excluding hostel & other facilities are like good.

Dislikes

The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
The drainage system is not maintained well.
The surroundings are not clean and the guarda are strict.

Placement Experience:

Some say that the celllege has better placements, but that the salary is not very lucrative. Infosys, Tata Steel, IBM, Wipro, Cisco Systems, Larsen and Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Group. My plans are to go to better iim for mba

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

KIIT Overview And The Reality

1.Like i did not apply so many colleges but i got selected in my state government college in it branch but i did not go there becuase there not so many companies comes for placement and internship and there not a much opportunity 2. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
