Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is in line with the directions and the points notified by the AICTE for technical course in engineering. The examination pattern is designed in a semester wise manner that is exams are held in a semester wise face with 2 semester being conducted in a single year of study. in between the semester exams evaluations are done through mid-semester examination or the unit test.

Placement Experience

3

The placement rate of a college can be said to be decent. Around 60% of the batch strength gets good placement offers through campus placement. Many have also got placement in top firms based on their own effort through off-campus drives. Internships are to be managed on our on as the college doesn't provide any internship opportunity. One can easily get good internship with a little bit of effort.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College is a bit low as compared to the other private Engineering college in the region. For the four year program one has to pay around 3 lakh rupees. this means each year the cost stands at around 50 to 60 thousand rupees. For assistance one can look out for various options like scholarship and loans.

Fees and Financial Aid

The government of Tamil Nadu offers state-run scholarship to the student who are domicile of the state and are from reserved categories or are from the economically weaker section. In case one doesn't gets the state scholarship one can also apply for the national scholarship offered by the central government. Education loans are extended by various private and public sector banks. One can apply for loans through the Vidya Lakshmi portal.

Campus Life

3.5

In terms of extra curricular activities I can say that there is nothing much in our college. Events like sports meet, annual fest, freshers party, etc are organised. the college is located a bit outside the city so it has a wide space in and around it. This serves well for outdoor activities. In terms of classroom infrastructure I can say it is overall very nice. The libraries and labs are also very well equipped.

Admission

I applied for the college based on the JEE Main score. However, one can also apply for the college based on the score of state engineering entrance exam that is the TNEA examination. I sat for the counselling of JEE and got this college in third round of counselling. Counselling for State Engineering exam are conducted separately. I want to pursue graduation in Computer science domain and since the college was popular in my region so I opted for this college.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty in our college is professional and qualified. Many of the teachers have their research papers published on popular journals and have Ph.D level knowledge in their respective subject. Try to make us understand the applicability of any concept and refrain from inculcating the value of rote learning. They are happy to help us even after the class timings.
