MSRIT is awesome in almost all aspects that is extracurricular as well as in academics. But the worst of all is the canteen which is really bad annd the college must take all necessary stepa to change it. But since MSRIT is the centre of the city there are many restaurants all arounf the campus.

I took up common entrance test in which i scored 3000 ranking since i had strong interest in electronic gadgets and circuits engineering was the obvious choice.

The course was challenging and interesting. The freshman year was pretty fine but in during my junior year we were exposed to the core subjects which was intimidating at the same time interesting.

There were many companies that attended our campus. There were 139 companies that attended our campus. Some of the companies offered internships. Their stipned varied from 20000 to 40000 per month.

There were 1529 offers from 139 companies just in the winter of 2014.The highest package was offered by Intuit 16 LPA. LinkedIn offered 19 LPA. There were around 20 people who bagged more 10 lakh package. Overall the placements was good.

There are many festivals celebrated in our college. Every year the college organises one technical fest, one cultural fest and a sports day. The festivals are huge. People from all other colleges attend this festival and anybody can participate in these events such as dance etc.

The fee is feasible for government seats and COMEDk seats but it is expensive for management seats. The management seats depends on the department that is been selected. For example ECE department has the highest fee in management and biotech has the lowest

There are many scholarships awarded by our college. But the one I know about is the alumini scholarships where student having financial problems and good at academics will be awarded the entire fee as their scholarship

Campus life at MSRIT is cool. There are many extracurricular activities. There is band which you can join if interested in music or debating society and also sports club. Basketball and cricket is given a prime importance along with other sports. There is aso robotics workshop where you join and learn to build a robot yourself. There are many research labs and innnovation labs where you can pitch in your ideas,

The hostel rooms are shared between two people and they provide with mess food which is not so great. There is another hostel where which is bit expensive where students get individual rooms. The normal hostel would cost around 50,000 to 60,000 per annum.

There is Alumini society in out college. They help out lot by providing scholarship. They also help you with some funding if you are interested in starting your company. They also help you take up masters program in other countries by suggesting the universities.

The exam structures are perfect. There will be 3 internal test which will be assigned for 30 marks and the other 20 marks will awarded based on projects and presentations. This CIE marks(50) will be addedd to sem end marks and a grade will be assigned based on the final marks,

The faculty was always supportive and helpful. They helped us in research and many more things. They conducted many workshops to help us learn the practical aspects of engineering and also conducted conferences where we could publish and present technical paper.
