Overall my college has given me some good times. We didn't had ragging so it was the best part. Teachers are nice and qualified so from their side I don't see any issues. Old hostel is not good but new ones I have heard are quite different.
The course curriculum is not 100 % according to present and future. There are subjects that are not used widely now, still they are there. The labs are good but it was neither a hectic or a chill day as students tend to bunk classes a lot. They are not study oriented. The exam structure is good. You will only get good marks if you study hard.
Placements are very good in my college. Around hundreds of students sit in for placements and Mass recruiters take around 300 of students every year. Our college doesn't provide internship as per my knowledge.
We have major event that happens comprises of technical, cultural and management events. The fest goes on for 4 days so there are a number of events to witness. Students take part in maximum number. It is a time of jubilee for everyone.
Fee Structure for college is expensive. It is around 1 lakh first year which can be cut into around 80000 for the first semester as it contains security amount too which is refundable and around 30000 next. For the next 3 years, it is 55000 and 25000 respectively.
The college offers fee waiver on the basis of income. Every year we have to fill out forms for the same and then a committee will sit and will examine if our application fits their criteria. If it does then we are called and asked few questions and it decides how much percentage it will waive off from our fees.
We have good computer labs. Students can organise any event or workshops. It happens every year. Any technical, cultural or spiritual workshop can be organized. Students also organise classes for preparation of GATE or CAT exams.
Hostel infrastructure was good from outside but inside was a complete mess. In a room of 2, 3 people were accomodated. The food was also very bad. We had asked for good food so many times but no use. It wasn't healthy too.
Yes, our alumni is very helpful. This depends upon the bonding one have during college years. If it was good then you can ask anything. We had several interactions with our seniors on/off events. We have some good friends too.
I had taken AIEEE test and during councelling I got this college. It was my choice to stay in this college or wait for another councelling to check if I can get any other. As I heard, this was the good college so I thought of filling in my seat. So I went to councelling with all my documents, handed over the photocopies to respective person and filled the fees. In this way I got admission to this college.
The faculty is highly qualified. They let you ask anything and clear your doubts too. They will teach according to their respective time table. They will never encourage cheating or indecent behaviour.
The M.Sc. Industrial Chemistry program offers 100% campus placement at various chemical and allied industries within India. The students become eligible for campus placements from the third semester itself. Lupin Ltd., Alembic Ltd., Aventis pharmaceuticals, Rallis India, Gharda chemicals, and Macleods pharmaceuticals are a few of the many companies visiting the campus of ISTAR. The average salary package offered is ranging from 1.5-3.5 lacs per annum for post-graduates of Industrial Chemistry.
From the 7th semester, you become eligible for campus placements and at least you scored the 7 CPI. In the college, the companies are visited is local and good reputed in Gujarat. The highest package is almost 10 LPA and the average package is likely 4 LPA and offered job as a manager, sales executive, relational manager. Almost 70 to 80% of the student get their placement and job in the company. My plans are the after graduation, If I got a chance in data science then definitely I try my best for this and the second option is in ISRO as a junior researcher.
Form 5th semester our placement process starts. There are many companies like TCS, ECW, envoys that conduct placement overall there are about 18 to 20 companies that do campus placement in our college The highest annual package is around 4 LPA and the average package is around 3 to 2.8 LPA Almost 90 percent of students get a job offer. I am having an internship at one of our recruiters and then will get a job offer at the same company
Human resource management is something which is increasing its pace every day with few percent and at this time, every college has introduced this field in their college. Choosing one from all such colleges was tough but lastly I found this college on Google.
The only process for admission included interview.
After BBA placement opportunities are almost null. We must go for post-graduation to get better placement opportunities. Though the college has a placement cell it offers max to max 25k per month package. We can't even expect a good package after BBA. We must go for an MBA to get a good placement.
The college is at too far to city area. So it's peace full. But the the big problem is the network issue there. But the college wifi is available at there. So we can use wifi calling to call the other person.
It is good college for any student, they will get good placement and also get good opportunities to improve themselves.
It's too far from my residence area. I have to travel 42km for reaching there. For reaching our College i have to weak up early in the morning. Then i have to leave the home early for reaching the College on the time.
As such there are no negative remarks for my College. The positives are that the faculties herein and their teaching are too good. You can get to do research in various fields as per your interest. The College thus is one of India's best College for Microbiology and Biotechnology studies.
Like two sides of coin my college has two sides, The faculty is best. More is the study culture. The college helps to endure our speech and presentation. But what is the bad point is the college is not giving us education of local language and is not supp
