REVIEWing KIIT

It's good overall. Infrastructure is awesome. The environment here is scary. Everywhere you see couples. Kiit authority has no take over it open scenes not suitable for parents. I don't know if I get into trouble but this is truth. Academics is on your own. You study and get results. Honest review by me. I suggest you to study hard and never go for a private college.

I got CSE so I thought its ok to study from here as I heard reviews about cse placements really good. Academic wise Kiit is good. Course is well planned and upto the requirements of the company and students.

many companies come to Kiit, capgemni, high radius has tie up with Kiit, accenture, wipro, muSigma, Amdocs, Barclays, Bitwise Solutions, Bookmyshow, Oyo, Dell, Delloite, Ericsson, Fiat, Honda, Hp, Prolofics, QSpider, Reliance, Microsoft(rare), Juspay, Mahindra. but they have their own requirement and criteria for selection. placement I guess didn't go as expected. trend in kiit as per case is 90%but sadly I don't think figures have gone that high, many students have bagged multiple offers but company demands are high now.

KIIT Fest is the biggest annual cultural fest. CHIMERA is there. Then kiims fest. then recently kiit is hosting khelo india event. This is very prestigious for Kiit to host such a big event. 1700 universities and many players have participated. its an huge investment with good outcomes. KIIT FEST invites many special celebrities like sonu nigam, armaan malik, anupam kher and many others. Small talks and standup comedy also occur. BB ki vines performer bhuvam bam also lighted up a concert here. standup comedians too come.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls with round-the-clock wireless internet and intranet connectivity. About 30% of the hostel rooms are air conditioned. All the hostels have attached canteens serving good quality Indian and Continental foods. A dedicated international hostel accommodates foreign students. Each hostel has 24-hr reading room and facility for indoor and outdoor games.

When applying to college, Kiit actually offered me the largest financial aid package of all the colleges I applied to, and it was all need-based. A world-class education isn't cheap, but Kiit is very generous in ensuring that you can attend without too much financial hardship. I dont apply for any loan but can take loan. Also you get scholarship if your kiitee rank is below 500.

Life at KIIT is more than just lectures and study sessions. Students get a plenty of excuses to take a well-earned break from books. Our packed calendar of events and activities means a new friend is never far away. At KIIT, students have a meaningful learning experience while enjoying all that university life has to offer. University is important, but it should also be a time to make friends and have great experiences outside the classroom. That’s why – along with libraries, lecture theaters and Wi-Fi hotspots – all of our campuses offer places to socialise, get a coffee and hang out during leisure. Soaking up the university atmosphere, meeting friends and reflecting on your classes are valuable take- aways of the student experience.

The seniors in cse dept are very helpful. Many societies are there. you cam interact there with your seniors. Profeesors are consistently top in their field, the college rooms are large enough that one can have personal relationships and meet people to work with. Faculties were always suppotive to me and othersalso. Registration generally is workable, and advising / tutoring is everywhere. So not much help is needed.

I never thought of taking admission in Kiisadly I could not clear jee and I had taken up this exam for online practice. I wanted to give VIT, so I had given KIITEE exam and sadly I qualified. I got nowhere so I came to Kiit.

Faculty is average. I mean some are really Good and some are new, so less experience, but they really work hard. they are also helping in extra time, mentors help you in personal matters too, Teachers prepare their course well, give handouts and ppts. So overall its fine.
