Entrance Preview

I took UPSEE 2009 and scored around 5000 rank in the exam.I opt this college(EEE) because this is No.1 college in ranking of that time as many academic prizes awarded by UPTU university for good performance in academic as well as extra curricular activities.

Internships Opportunities

College play no role in internship and no company visited the campus for internship. You have to find yourself for 3rd year industry based internship. So, few students get stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If you look around to other college then it makes you feel that fee structure of college is feasible.details as follow. Tuition Fee - Rs 97100 Total Rs 130350 (for 1st year student) total hostel fee 100000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students belonging to SC / ST categories are entitled for the benefits of freeship and scholarship provided by the Govt. if their annual parental family ( Gross ) income is not more than Rs.200000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, It is good. Every year college organize alumni meet so that we can engage with all the activities of our present and past students. Now, when we are poised on the path of progress with promise to reach newer heights, we cannot remain disconnected from your college. Where we have spent four prime years of our youth. I am certain all of us must also be fondly remembering that golden time. AKGEC has grown over the years, both in establishing modern infrastructural facilities and academic achievements.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was not so hectic, it was easy one but it astonished some students .Who are engaged in college extra curricular activities.Labs were also chilled out as most of the students went there only for presence.

Faculty

Some faculties were really good and have a vast experience of how to deal student and have good practical knowledge as .They are industry experienced. At the top positions, mostly armed forces education corps faculties are positioned. In general, college is governed by retired armed forces officers.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

More Information About AKGEC College

I got thus college through counselling and the top AKTU Affiliated colleges I opted to were JSS, AKGEC, ABES, from which I got ECE branch in AKGEC which I locked in the first round of counselling itself as I was satisfied with the college. The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
