Remarks

I was there from the preliminary stages of the college and have faced some issues but have seen a drastic growth of the college in just 4 years. This college will surely be one of the best colleges to go to be it education wise, culture wise, the infrastructure etc, in Mumbai.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our college curriculum only focused and is focusing on memorizing the answers and topics of the subjects. It's not like an engineering course it more looks like a memory test. It was like your semester starts within 1½ month you get your mids then after a month you get your mids again then the semester exams And believe me the stuff what they teach at college and the stuff what you get in your question paper don't even match 60% According to me If we know the 60% of questions we can get through the exams

Placement Experience

3.5

As the college is fairly new, the CRC team have to start from scratch to get clients but the Amity branding helps. Not many students have been placed by the CRC but the students have gotten into good places with the help of faculty and self.

College Events

4.5

The event are going more and more grander every year as the college grows. There are mainly two fests, one technical and one cultural, both of which are celebrated grandly. And seems to grow even more in coming years.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is comparable to other colleges and universities but tends to increase as the college gains more popularity. When I joined 4 years back, the fees were how much it should have been but now it has increased substantially. Check and compare.

Fees and Financial Aid

Upto 100% scholarship is provided based on your 10th and 12th marks. Check accordingly. The scholarship is carried over in the next semester if the students get placed in the first 3 spots in the class and scores above a certain threshold percentage. Scope for people without scholarship to get new scholarship based on performance has to be checked.

Campus Life

4.5

We don't even have sports hrs in our college once in a blue moon we have a fest called technical fest.only 10-15 out of 100 members participate in those kinds of events. If a student is mentally or physically unfit how he/she can focus on the curriculum. College should focus on each and every aspect of student

Alumni/Alumna

The amity university alumni Is very strong as the amitians from all over help out each other to show the way and in placement also. They also conduct placement drives and prefer amitians since they know the kind of crowd there is in Amity.

Admission

I came to this college through management. Management means literally buying the seat because I was just a below average student. My father believed that only engineering is the scope for developing ourselves. As coming from a background of poor shopkeepers the situation around us made me also to believe in such a way so, basically I also got to get interest in the course. Then we got to know that computer science engineers are most wanted in the market so my father assisted me to choose that course I also did a bit research on internet for my course and I was also a bit good at computers I chose to be one computer science engineer. But after coming to this college I learnt some things. Those things are: 1. Attendance is always important than subject knowledge. 2. Learning the subject only to pass the semester exams but not about the depths of subject. 3. Lab records are more important than student understandability of the subject

Faculty

3.5

Since the college is in its preliminary stage, it has a lot to make systematic and going in the right direction. Had faced a few issues with the faculty teaching and allotment etc. But once everything was in order, things went smoothly. 90% faculty are PhD holders and know a lot and learning as they go to teach in comprehensive way.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.
