Entrance Preview

I appeared for IIT JEE and scored 77 out of 360. 77 was actually pretty good to get admission here easily. I got a seat in EXTC in the first list but I wanted to go for COMPS. So I waited for the 2nd cutoff list and secured a seat in COMPS. Admission process was pretty hectic with all the documents they needed.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The syllabus for 1st year as usual had some useless subjects thanks to Mumbai University. 2nd year has some good subjects like Computer Graphics , Theoretical Computer Science etc that are very usefull. Also my favourite programming language JAVA is covered in 3rd sem.

Internships Opportunities

This years tens of companies (mostly startups) came to take interviews for Internship. Companies like E-Serve, GetDeals, Konnections and Stylonic had come. Most of them are giving no stipend but promised letter of recommendation. The interviews are quite good and logical questions are asked. Work can be done in college as well as at home.

Placement Experience

4.5

Infosys , bewakoof.com , TCS, Capgemini, Igate Patni.Total of 203 students were placed. Infosys placed 102 students with package of 3.25L. Igate Patni placed 36 with package of 3.15L. L&T Infotech placed 21 with package of 3L. Tech Mahindra placed 11 with package of 3L.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible. I am from general category and it is 69000/- which is a lot cheaper compared to other private colleges in the area. People from SC/ST etc pay as little as 7 to 31k. Tuiton fees, gym fees, lab fees, examination fees is all included. Though at the beginning of the academic year we need to pay extra 2000 for the stationary they provide.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are given to meritorious students. Tuition fee waiver scheme is present in the college which are given to students according to the merit. Though scholarships are only for category students.

Hostel Facilities

4

There is no hostel facilities but there are quite a few residential areas nearby. Rents range from 12000 to 21000 a month which is shared by 4-6 people.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
