Remarks

About atharva college I would just say that If any one wants to learn not only syllabus but also want to learn how to lead and make yourself stand out of crowd and want to explore your inner skill. Come and Join I promise you that in first year you will say all bad thing to this college but in fourth year you will realise that this is where I had to reached.

Entrance Preview

I had appeared for MH-CET which is Maharastra State level entrance exam for getting admission in engineering college in Maharashtra. My score was 145/200 in 2010. I had applied for computer engineering in Atharva College as I had already decide to become computer engineer from my school days so there was no conflict in deciding stream. As far admission process is concerned, it was online admission process through CAP round. I got atharva college in first round itself and it was a day process to complete admission formalities which was done in just 1/2 hours which includes filling form and submitting to faculty. Since this college was very near by to my home, I opted for this college to save travelling time. In engineering life time is most crucial thing one learn to manage and utilise effectively.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Courses are as per Mumbai University norms. We had experienced faculty for third and forth year. But for first and second year students, faculties are passed out student of engineering college who are doing MTech. But they too are very good because they know the subject very well and they are still learning in their Master Degree College. If students are interested then faculties are always available to teach and to clear doubts.

Internships Opportunities

Till 2014 Atharva college was not providing any internship in college but TnP department was very helpful to provide reference for internship in companies like Bharti Airtel, etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

Almost all MNC want to visit Atharva college and they are visiting it too. In our time first company was Infosys which too around 120 students from all branch. Other companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Patni, Zycus, Mindcraft, and many more to list. Training and placement department bring many companies so that all the student get placed in good company. For fresher MNC has fix range of package from 3 lac to 3.6-3.7 lac. And almost all company which came had provided this range of package. Highest package secured in 2014 was 4lac from one Mumbai based company.

College Events

5

Atharva college is called college of festival. Here we don't miss any festival from celebrating either it is fresher party, navratri (dandiya), Ganesh Utsav, Indian Princes, IEEE 360, Techithon, Ember, Holi, Diwali, Dahi Handi, etc and student actively participate in all events and wins exciting prices. Some of events are at National Level like Indian Princes, some are at state level etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Apart from low fee for lower cast people there were no scholarship as far as I remembered.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life of atharva college is all about self learning and exploring to oneself. Since it all the event are organised and managed by students of college itself. All the students actively participate without any conflict and hesitation. Everyone gets equal opportunity to prove themselves and stand for their words and use their skill.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Fee structure in atharva college is not only feasible but also manageable since it don't hike much. Fee varies from Rs. 60000 to Rs. 65000 yearly. Once can take tution for a year and can pay the fee there is no hostel in atharva college.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students were very helpful as they use to manage the community and all events. They use to teach their junior about all the events and responsibility to carry on in their absence. They are our second professor who help us to improve our skill and give chance to explore it on the stage.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
