Remarks

College management is very student friendly and you won't face any problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Exam structure, curriculum all are practicals oriented which is most important for any MBBS students .With limited seats and enormous resources we all have full access to all the equipments unlike other medical colleges.Routine case presentations, examinations, vivas and practicals fills the entire year.

Placement Experience

4.5

IMS bhu offers 50 percent reserved pg seats for its own students and the students never generally have to go for a drop for preparation of neet pg.

College Events

4

Every year there is the annual fest called ElIXIR added to SPANDAN celebrated in whole BHU where there is competition between all the faculties in BHU.Elixir is organised by MBBS students only and it's very exciting .It lasts for 5 days filled with extracurricular activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very minimal as it is a govt medical college and there is full transparency to the fee structure. No additional fees .You only need to pay for the mess additionally in your hostel if you opt for it. Till date I have not faced any problem related to fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not opted for any scholarship but yes BHU offers for jobs in campus for low income students who could do the part time job and pay fees.

Campus Life

4

BHU is full of playgrounds and we have ruhiya ground dedicated to medicos.Thete are annual sports organised for badminton, table tennis, cricket, carton and also many events are organised through annual fest -ELIXIR. Annual literary events are also organised.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes hostels are neat and clean and most importantly quite safe . There are 2 girls in one room .Mess is also provided and there is also a canteen for the students .We also have celebrations in our hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and MBBS years remain fun filled because of them . There is alumni meet organised at a very large scale.

Admission

Admission in college is based on Neet Ug exam conducted nationwide and only the top rankers get a chance to be part of IMS, BHU. Students from all over India participate in counselling which occurs in four rounds 1 st round and 2nd round through MCI and the mop up rounds and open rounds through institute only.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very dedicated and they teach us even on bed side next to the patients for a better grasp of diseases. We are exposed to all the 19 subjects through 1 month postings in each of the subject and after end of posting there is also ward leaving exams.
