Remarks

Good remarks about the college is about the infrastructure and good academics. and the bad remarks is poor placement and poor social life.

Course Curriculum Overview

the course curriculum is four years. the final exam is held after every six months and the mid sem exam is held after two months. the midsem exam is held twice in every semester. ALso the internal exam is held every semester. yes it is relevant in making better professional.

Placement Experience

Around 50% of the students get placed from college. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. Top companies like TCS,WIPRO and many more visit the campus for recruitment. I don't have any idea about the percentage of students who got internships, due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

College Events

Many fest and events are organised on this campus, and they focus on other curriculum activities also. Our annual cultural fest is called waltz. Our tech fest utkrist. takefest is not held every year. The E-cell of our institute is also highly active and inculcates entrepreneurial spirit among all the residents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee steucture of the college is feasible. the total fee is 27000 that is feasible. the facilty provided is very good. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Yes it makes the student ready for the industry. The course is too good for better placement. Which is very good in this fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

NO college dosent provide any type of scholarship or education loan. student manage their loan and scholarship from outside.

Campus Life

Ratio of gender is very low. Classes are way too big so that the teachers cannot handle those, the library is not that good as you are not even allowed to take any book, pen or paper or laptop. Nothing is allowed inside the library, labs are the worst part of the college teachers don't know how to explain anything under level teachers.They don't provide Wi-Fi but they have a really good Wi-Fi network

Hostel Facilities

All the facilities of hostel are good and the room are very good and advanced. The quality of the food served is good compared to the food served in other colleges.the room is shared between two student.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni are not helpful because i dont see any of them in any college fest and cultural program. Seniors are very helpful in nature.

Admission

I got admission on the basis of merit and entrance exam which is held by the west bengal government. the form fillup process is started in february and the exam is held in the month of may. And the admission process started in month ofJune and July throuhg counselling process.

Some teachers are helpful but all the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Yes course curriculum is relevant. Some teacher give marks as per the writing but in some subject, if the answer is not correct then the answer is wrong means there is no step marking.

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

Its our lovely college TIU

Likes

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

The College Life in Burdwan

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Placement Experience:

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Likes

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Dislikes

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

If anyone wants to get admission to this college they accept the West Bengal joint entrance exam. For CSE you need to rank at least 9000 rank. For IT you need at least 12000 ranks. For ECE you need at least 25000 ranks. For EE you need at least 45000 ranks. For Civil, you need at least 55000 ranks. And it is a semi-government college.
