My learning experience at college

The points to be improved. Open more channels for research activities and encourage more research works to be done by the students. Make a practical approach of teaching the students and enforce them to come with more works based on the study.

Completed my state board higher secondary examination and came up with 190.5 cutoff at state level. Went through the counselling process which was conducted by Anna university and seeing the availability of this college with the IT course chose this college.

Curriculum was standard as that of normal engineering college. In addition to the curriculum had the chances to improve my communication skills by exclusive lab facilities for that and also completed a course in English under Cambridge university. The list of electives include,E-commerceweb technologies,Digital and signal processing.

The fee structure was given for a yearCourse fee 70000,Exam fee 2000,Hostel fee 30000 which includes the mess fee stationary 3000 which can be used by the student for buying things inside the campus and also the xerox facility inside the college.

No scholarships have been given by the college. Every year one student from each year of study will be chosen based on the economical status of that student and will be offered with financial assistance for their academic year.

All the days in a week will be occupied by an extra curricular activities every day after 5 pm after college hours. Robotics club once in a week and workshops once in a month. Youth parliament (debate) twice a week and special guest talks once in a month. Elocution lab thrice a week with regular exams under Cambridge university. Students' internal project lab all days in a week which helps the students to work on innovative learning project which can be used internally by the college.

The hostel consists of 10 blocks in total for the entire girls gang of the college. The division of blocks was based on the year of study of the student and the allotment of room for the student was also based on the department of study by the student. Mess food will be available for all the three meal.

Once in a year the alumni network will be contacted for framing the curriculum of the students and also the heads of the departments will be meeting the alumni people to get in touch with the industry in which the alumni are working and also invite the alumni once in a month to the college to conduct workshops and trainings for the college students.

Its a semester pattern and each semester has 3 internals,pre-semester and practicals. Since there was 3 internals each time the preparation time for the semester required less efforts. The lab sessions were given with precise exercise and however the examination lab session was given with surprise problem statement which was also solvable.
