Remarks

College management is very good.The environment of this college is good only the fees of this college is high so many poor students face a lot of problems which i faced very much.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exam is yearly and heavy tough to secure marks so i secure poor marks.I can not attend college everyday as it is backword from our location. English is very good subject because it has world wide range so I chose this subject and I love literature So i do this.

It is a regular college under Burdwan University and it is not a technical college there only B. A, B. SC, AND B. COM streme many bright students come from there.

College Events

In our college all types of memorable days are celebrated with grandure. Like freshers welcome,Saraswati Puja, Independence day, Republic day, Rabindra Jayanti, Yuva Divas, World Environment day, Netaji Jayanti, College established day, Football, Cricket, Volleyball match etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In our time fees is too much expensive for us and also the present time fees is more then other colleges under Burdwan University. Why it is so no one can clerify this. All time charges are high in the time of admission,registration,form fill up.It is a big fault of this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes i got only college scholarship for good student but i don't know any other scholarships on that time.

Campus Life

In our college girls students are more than boys student and they amicably spent their time there was no cast bar all engoyed their life joyfully.Only one time college vote was held after that in this college politics are prohibited which is good then other colleges.

Hostel Facilities

No.there is no hostel in the college of our time so the outsider student face many problems for this. Here only Santali students came from outside because there is onli santali hons. in the college.college building are good.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the elder students are very good and helpful.I like them all they help in admission time but i can not get any educational help from them.

Admission

I love english so i admitted.at first i submit the form tjen merit list published and admitted.I chose the institution as it is situated in a peaceful forest side and there is a lot of good teachers.our principal is very genius person and he also a professor in English so i love this.

Faculty

Our college has not sufficient full time faculty but the teachers and mam are so good and helping but I don't attend class all time for our locality backwardness.I miss it very much.the most of faculty are part timer though they are good but they stop their work mid time and go any othere job.

My Experience at Jaipuria to summed it up.

Likes

Quality education and an academically enriching environment. Most importantly, well- versed professors.
Extra- curriculum activities, along with an active sports cell and NCC, and usually various opportunities to participate in Inter-College Competitions.
Well maintained gym with separate timings for girls and boys. The canteen offers a wide variety of foods at an affordable price.

Dislikes

For my department, there was no educational excursion.
Negligence internship opportunities are available for my course.
Only some placement opportunities are available, and companies like TCS and Wipro came up for campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

A balanced view of campus life and learning

Likes

The English department has experienced and supportive teachers. Most professors explain concepts clearly and encourage discussions, close reading and critical thinking.
The course is very affordable, especially compared to private colleges. With scholarships, it becomes accessible for students from middle and lower income backgrounds.
The college has a friendly and diverse student crowd. The girls to boys ratio is balanced with slightly more female students, which creates a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs improvement. Classrooms and common areas could be better maintained and modern facilities are limited.
There are very few placement opportunities for arts students.
Although some academic events take place, extracurricular activities and active student societies could be improved for better campus life.

Placement Experience:

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.

Likes

The college has an ideal atmosphere for studying and the hostel accommodation allowed for close bonding with seniors who helped us out in studies as well as personal matters. The teachers are extremely talented and treated us with care and respect.
It is an all boys college and it is without any doubt a ragging-free campus. There is anti-ragging cell as well as student councelling cell available on the campus to help out with these issues.
The experience of hostel life and the close sense of community that is formed during my stay has been instrumental in my growth and the strict implementation of discipline in our daily lives enriched me and changed my life for the better.

Dislikes

The administration is not always the best. Applications, forms, seminars and event permits all required a long time to get approved by the authorities as most of the time it meant compromising our strict schedule as it is a residential college.
The average food quality in the mess could be better. Again it is not always the best but for the most part it is decent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum provides a comprehensive retrospective of literature from the Old English period to Modern period, while also including English works by Indian authors to demonstrate the diversity and evolution of English literature over the years. The current curriculum I believe requires more seminars and lectures from guest faculties on contemporary research and topics.

Likes

I really like the environment of our college .
And the brilliant and talented professors with phed
And the friendly nature of the people in the college

Dislikes

The unavailability of the boys hostel in our college .
No bigger playground to play ...as there is only volleyball court to play .
The toilet facilities are not poorly managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really liked geography as a subject for learning and exploring as it includes fieldwork , surveys and excursion which enhances our mind and experience in our life and this way we have many opportunities to learn new things in our life which is helpful for our future purposes. The only improvements I would like to note that to improve the toilet facilities and placement opportunities.

Likes

Our college has one of the most beautiful infrastructure. I have never seen such infrastructure in any other colleges in our town. Our clg has the best infrastructure with all the facilities required for the students.
Second thing which I like the most about our college is the rules and regulations which helps each and everyone alot. Propers rules and regulations for everything academic co curricular activities
Third thing is the faculty our college got the best faculty ever each one of them are really very helpful and kind. If any problem face the faculty will obviously help you to get a prophet solution to your problem.

Dislikes

Just one thing which the the timing as many students faces problem regarding the timing as sometimes it's too early like 7 am in the morning

Course Curriculum Overview:

If I had to rate the course curriculum then it would be 9 as this course is really good one. The college provides proper teaching facilities with the best teachers and with the help of them it feels so easy and fun to learn. There are no improvement required for this field if they will keep on doing the same thing it will really be good

My overall experience is too good with good environment

We get hands on experience from different star categories of hotels during the course in every weekend.
