Remarks

The management needs a huge change. They must try to sort out the issues of the students. They often ignore our demands. We had different issues with the authority regarding academics, elections. Overall remarks about the collegee was not too good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum was not satisfactory as because it is not relevant to practical issues. It is not that relevant to our profession. The subjects we learned was not useful in our profession. The practical life is quite different. The exam structure was semester wise. The curriculum was not related to industry or production. No industrial visits were organized and no provision for campus placement.

Placement Experience

0.5

We didn't had campus placement cell. There is no scope for getting a job by campus placement. The authority has no intention to provide campus placement for the students.

College Events

3

Youth festival, College week, Varsity week, Inter college quiz competition, Cultural rally. Every department held their own festivals, competition. Each and every student can participate in their respective departments. The environment was energetic and it encourage everyone.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My fee was almost 15,000 for every semester. It was not feasible for everyone, some unnecessary fees were added by the authority. The mode of payment was by bank drafts mainly. No there was no additional fee to get admission over there. No, the college didn't provide transparency in the fee structure and unnecessary fees were added.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was No provision for any scholarship. We had to pay our fees by ourselves. There was not any government scholarship too. But it was highly necessary.

Campus Life

3

The campus environment was good and friendly. We enjoyed alot our college days. We had a lot of fun with our friends. Students from different cultures were there. The gender ratio for male : female is 40 : 60. We had different workshops organized by the authourity and students from all race, colour, sex, caste participated in the events. Each department help their respective events like debates, robotics, artiestic, sports. Our college was politically sound and held elections every year. There was no any irregularities or any illegalaties. Students with different economic background were addmited in our collegee. There was provision for qouta which helps the culturally backward students to study there.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No i didn't stayed in college hostel as the environment of hostels was not good. I rented a house. The rent was 3000 per month. The infrastructure of hostel was not good enough. There were several PGs nearby and affordable rent houses.

Alumni/Alumna

The experience with the seniors were nit bad at all. They were helpful and supportive. They guided us well whenever necessary.

Admission

I got admitted into the college by giving entrance exam. I opted this University because it is nearby and also has a decent ranking in top Universities. I opted BALLB because its a professional course and also i am passionate about Advocacy. It gives me the freedom to work, a status in the society and knowledge about governance and justice.

Faculty

3

There were almost 15 lectureres in my course, average age would be around 32. All of them were master degree holders but less skills. They were not that experienced and they didn't had in depth knowledge about certain things. No, the lectures were not related to industry or practical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The ULC, GU being one of the premier law colleges in the North Ease of India, I chose this college because of the course structure which prepares students to make a law career for themselves along with the faculty from various esteemed colleges of India which includes the likes of University of Goa, Government Law College, Gauhati etc. The college helps students seek internships with various legal professsionals which prepares the students not only accademically but also the face the practical legal world after college. The courese need no specific improvement but the availibility of a placement cell would had been a great addition to thish college. The exams are conducted half yearly which rigorously tests the students legal knowledge in every aspect.

National Law University and Judicial Academy - [NLUJAA], Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws [B.A.L.L.B.] {Hons}

Remarks:

It is human tendency that we always look for something better, but in NLUJA things seem to be growing at the right pace. Instead of looking for a better management, I think the students' participation and enthusiasm must be encouraged. A college/university is only what the students make it, and it cannot grow until and unless the students take an initiative.

Remarks:

I was a part of this college for 5 years and I know this college well. This college should have an auditorium for conducting seminars and there should be College week so that the students can take part in various competitions. Moreover the library has insufficient books and most of them are outdated as new editions of those books are available in market. There are very limited books. Library doesn't have Manupatra, SSC online etc.and the computers are outdated. The administration is average they fail to respond well at times. The best thing about this college is that it secures 1st position in University results.
