College was wondeful just how any boy need his college life.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes very well with 1 industrail visit every year in a 4 year course. Cirriculum was lousy but its government provided so its of no use to comment on it. College made it a better place to be and complete the course as it had a lot more activites then just studies.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

Work for 5 years in the organisation I got placed in campus interviews. Now I am just tired and filling out surveys to earn extra money.

College Events

Sports like chess baseball cricket basketball volleyball, college fests. Taking surveys is the only option rest, please give me max money. I need it. Job is not paying enough to pay loans. Talent is not awarded in this country. Poor remains poor, rich gets richer.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, but divided by different fee for people belonging to different castes. Like free for some and arkund 50k for others. This is wrong and right in manh ways. but still feas was way less then other colleges. I can say that. There way few managements seats as welll which paid donations to get in.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I was not a smart kid to start with, average in schools and same in college. So even if I tried I wont get it.

Campus Life

Every thing was reallygood, they even had a backyard and a real pitch to practice cricket in it. System eas dedicated enormously to cricket. We used to get kits to ay, attendance sactions to participate in tournaments but no allounces, that was really bad.

Hostel Facilities

No I did not opt for hostel as my college was 15 mins walkkng distance from my house. I used to catch a bus in the morning to go to college and walk home back to save some lunch money. Did it for 2 years.

External Expense: Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Admission

Good job opportunity for the course and near to my home address so I was ok to go here, actually it was my low grades which did not help either. But the point was it was near to my home and I got seat there in online process so I accepted this seat never to regret.

Mixture of experienced and new faculty. Helpfull in all ways, eager to to new things, tey new solutions, work on new techs along with syllabus ofcourse, giving equal importance to extra activies ans sports as well. I was part of many sporting activities institution took active part in.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge and there is to much space for walk and greenari
Affordable price in cantin same we eat outside.
Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

my college is in rural division so i liked the nature and environment of the college most and the college is have rural position and college have bus facility so all the student from poor family are is admitted in this college
my college have bus facility for the students
college have good campus in rural area and the college is good

Dislikes

college have no placement for the students
college having some times electricity short
college have some students water issue for drinking

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

Affordable or Expensive- A detailed review of Atharva College of Engineering

I had applied for Thakur college of engineering which was the nearest to my house and also in St. Francis college of engineering. I think Thakur could have been a better option but due to my less percentile I had to go in Athrava and that too management category. The only thing I liked about my college is its aimbience and vibe it gives you a vibe of a decent yet somewhat modern college. The admission process was seamless no difficulty faced at all. There was 92 percentile cut-off for my course but I was from OBC category and the cutoff was closed at 89.67 and my percentile was 89.72. the Admission process was done by CET cell which was too lengthy as it took more then 1-1.5 month to allot the college.
