Remarks

There is still a lot that the college campuses could learn and be better but apparently it is ? that there isn't anyone to work on it. There is always that littoe politics I have seen everywhere. I wish the college be much much better and hope it does in near future.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

They are perfect. I personally enrolled for Journalism but turned out loving Literature classes more than anything. Psychology classes are way interesting however Literature classes thought me a lot - made a better person in life applications. There is research paper at the end of the final year and it was interesting. All faculty members are friendly and helpful.

Placement Experience

1

Goes to selected students. It's okayish. The college doesn't focus much as I believe JGI creates more of Entrepreneurs than job category people.

College Events

3.5

Annual day, sports day, treasure hunt and well the events aren't that great as no one cares much about it in the campus space we have and college tends to ignore experience kids and focuses more on fav or money kids in this area so the part never really got better or so.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible if one wants to see their kid as a leader than a job working machine. The college does charge additional amount and they have also kept it completely transparent on that matter and well I would still anytime this college than any other in Bangalore.

Fees and Financial Aid

I never opted for any such loans or so, yeah scholarship are provided but I don't think they make much difference.

Campus Life

2.5

College life is literally dead and I don't stidents or college admin cared much about it. There were few activities and well it just happened. There isn't much further to add on it. I have mentioned above on it and yes every college has gender inequality just like homes however this.college thought us to be better and not treat that and I love the college for the same.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Nope. The hostels are okay however college campus is near my house hence I live with my parents so never opted. The boys hostel is kinda average and not that great except for its Interational campus which is mainly for rich kids.

Alumni/Alumna

Nope none were helpful we never had any as such anyways so yeah useless in that section and well not many comes back as a well until they are called by the teachers (fav kids only called) and some go back for a littoe stage time and one min fame.

Admission

Filled application, there are three dates for enterance exams and top 60-70 gets the seat. Procedure is simple however applications can be collected from any branch of JGI however needs to be dropped at Jayanagar campus. The campus admission exam.happens in the same building where the student studies that is in Palac Road campus.

Faculty

2

The literature department teaching is excellent however are partial towards students, Journalism department is amazing as always and psychology department has fav kids however princi is amazing and supporting however she probably got promoted by now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We get to learn many things not because of just the syllabus and courses but also because of the national and international conferences that are held in our college. People from other colleges come in and share their knowledge with us. This experience is really good for us students. We even have expert lectures from our alumnis who give us advice on what all is required in the world outside college to earn. All these are really helpful.
