Remarks

I have shared all my feedback. Overall it was an okay experience u had in my 4 years. Expecting the college to bounce back at least in the future

Entrance Preview

Through Counselling TNPCEE entrance exam was the qualifying exam where I scored 75%. & got into mnm jain engineering college for Information Technology

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Software & telecom courses. Total quality management, Enterprise resource planning, Resource management technique principles of marketing n management are the electives

Internships Opportunities

No stipend offered our college did not offer any stipend to the students is the worst story. we paid 2L plus building construction bribes to the college lakhs from our pocket

Placement Experience

1.5

Placement opportunities were minimal. We had a week of placements & nothing after that. There was only one placement coordinator & very few got through placements.

College Events

1.5

IT symposium, college day fest, cultural festival, are the only fest days. The college did not have any other festivals or celebrations in.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible 2L for the 4 yrs. It was 50000 per annum for 4 years plus 5L capitation fee from few people. I'm from 2007 paused out batch mnm jain engineering college

Fees and Financial Aid

Nope. No scholarship was provided to anyone. We spent a min of 3Lakhs over these 4 years to complete our graduation.

Campus Life

1.5

Gender ratio 70:30. Labs were OK but not up to the mark. Girls were prohibited from talking to boys. Engineering mechanics fitting carpentry worships were of ordinary quality.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

OK but not great. The hostel infrastructure & food were not Good it was terrible but people who suffered there may know it better than I know

Alumni/Alumna

Had interactions with few of the college toppers n gained some knowledge. They shared all the tacit knowledge they had gained in their span of 4 years.

Exam Structure

Exams were hectic n the syllabus prepared by the Anna university we had 60+ papers with 8 semesters & 15+ laboratory exams in our 8 semesters @ 2 lab exams per semester

Faculty

1.5

Faculty was good but not great. We have 8 papers per semester & 8 semesters. We have 100+ faculty members most of them were freshers so had tough time learning because of the lack of experience

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
