Remarks

I have chosen this course because I like this course, and I am interested in it. Our college organised many events, programmes, etc. I love the psychology subject that's why I chose it. Modern technology of study can improve our course. There is only one event arranged per year.

Our teachers are always very helpful, good and knowledgeable. Our college has many B.Ed qualified teachers. Teaching quality is very good to understand simple, and many students understand the matter of chapter of topics.

Placement Experience

I am currently studying at this college, and I will complete this course in the year 2023. Almost 70% of the students from our course were placed. The maximum salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month in BA, B.Sc and other courses. For management students, the salary offered is up to Rs. 25,000 per month, and for B.Com Honours students, the minimum salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month for the junior post. There are many salary packages available for a good life in the budget.

College Events

Free Wi-Fi is available in our college, and the classrooms and library are also very good. Hostel facilities are good, and food is also available here. Medical facilities are also available, and canteen and sports and games are good. Overall, the qualities are very good, and our college infrastructure is very well.

Campus Life

Our college has free Wi-Fi, science laboratory, geography laboratory and books in the library, and many students are interested in that. Our classrooms are very neat, clean and big, and when I enter this college, our mind is fresh. We have a big playground and basketball court, and there are many facilities in our college.

My Experience at Jaipuria to summed it up.

Likes

Quality education and an academically enriching environment. Most importantly, well- versed professors.
Extra- curriculum activities, along with an active sports cell and NCC, and usually various opportunities to participate in Inter-College Competitions.
Well maintained gym with separate timings for girls and boys. The canteen offers a wide variety of foods at an affordable price.

Dislikes

For my department, there was no educational excursion.
Negligence internship opportunities are available for my course.
Only some placement opportunities are available, and companies like TCS and Wipro came up for campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

A balanced view of campus life and learning

Likes

The English department has experienced and supportive teachers. Most professors explain concepts clearly and encourage discussions, close reading and critical thinking.
The course is very affordable, especially compared to private colleges. With scholarships, it becomes accessible for students from middle and lower income backgrounds.
The college has a friendly and diverse student crowd. The girls to boys ratio is balanced with slightly more female students, which creates a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs improvement. Classrooms and common areas could be better maintained and modern facilities are limited.
There are very few placement opportunities for arts students.
Although some academic events take place, extracurricular activities and active student societies could be improved for better campus life.

Placement Experience:

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira: A Life Changing Experience

Likes

The college has an ideal atmosphere for studying and the hostel accommodation allowed for close bonding with seniors who helped us out in studies as well as personal matters. The teachers are extremely talented and treated us with care and respect.
It is an all boys college and it is without any doubt a ragging-free campus. There is anti-ragging cell as well as student councelling cell available on the campus to help out with these issues.
The experience of hostel life and the close sense of community that is formed during my stay has been instrumental in my growth and the strict implementation of discipline in our daily lives enriched me and changed my life for the better.

Dislikes

The administration is not always the best. Applications, forms, seminars and event permits all required a long time to get approved by the authorities as most of the time it meant compromising our strict schedule as it is a residential college.
The average food quality in the mess could be better. Again it is not always the best but for the most part it is decent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum provides a comprehensive retrospective of literature from the Old English period to Modern period, while also including English works by Indian authors to demonstrate the diversity and evolution of English literature over the years. The current curriculum I believe requires more seminars and lectures from guest faculties on contemporary research and topics.

Likes

I really like the environment of our college .
And the brilliant and talented professors with phed
And the friendly nature of the people in the college

Dislikes

The unavailability of the boys hostel in our college .
No bigger playground to play ...as there is only volleyball court to play .
The toilet facilities are not poorly managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really liked geography as a subject for learning and exploring as it includes fieldwork , surveys and excursion which enhances our mind and experience in our life and this way we have many opportunities to learn new things in our life which is helpful for our future purposes. The only improvements I would like to note that to improve the toilet facilities and placement opportunities.

Likes

Our college has one of the most beautiful infrastructure. I have never seen such infrastructure in any other colleges in our town. Our clg has the best infrastructure with all the facilities required for the students.
Second thing which I like the most about our college is the rules and regulations which helps each and everyone alot. Propers rules and regulations for everything academic co curricular activities
Third thing is the faculty our college got the best faculty ever each one of them are really very helpful and kind. If any problem face the faculty will obviously help you to get a prophet solution to your problem.

Dislikes

Just one thing which the the timing as many students faces problem regarding the timing as sometimes it's too early like 7 am in the morning

Course Curriculum Overview:

If I had to rate the course curriculum then it would be 9 as this course is really good one. The college provides proper teaching facilities with the best teachers and with the help of them it feels so easy and fun to learn. There are no improvement required for this field if they will keep on doing the same thing it will really be good

Surendranath College review

I applied for many college not only Surender nath I apply in Balurghat Kuwait college Siliguri college Raiganj University and Ashutosh college and also surendranath College where I am now study in. The reason of choice this college is the college is very good and there is no ragging issue even the college authorities are take strict action for ragging issues the professors are very good and their very caring and harmful and the college is to closer from Shailesh station where I can easily private for my home and college in under of the prestigious University called Calcutta University that's why I take admission in this college. I am not rejecting of any college where I applied but I choose surendranath because this college is suitable for my situations and I happy to study in this college. The process of a admission in our college is to apply online for the admission you should have 70% number in the subject which you want to take honours. I applied in many colleges like THK, bangabasi, jaipuria, maulana azad and many more. I chose this college because of its low fees and its less restrictive. And also its convenient to reach. One needs more than 50% percent to get admission in thjs college. Students with higher higher marks gets preference in admission. Fated to my college

I chose this college because it was near my house. Actually during school I lost so much time travelling so I was very sure that I would choose a college near me.
