Remarks

After returning from abroad I had three days time to choose my college and since SRM university is best in city i tried for the law course there and law was new then so it was easy to get in. I was doing engineering in UK and decided i should do a change of course and choose law as i felt im good in arguing.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus keeps getting updated as laws keep changing so our course keeps changing. The mark system also changes depending on the batches. The seniors and current juniors have different marking format. Apart from our batch others had industrial experience but in the 5th year the college makes sure we are taken to delhi and jaipur. Its meant for law.

Class Size: 43Course Fees: INR 750000 per year

There are many companies who come to SRM for job placement since SRM has the one of the highest job placement opportunity in india. Once even a company wanted to hire young lawyers before even they got their degrees like part time job which they can do after their college.

College Events

Milan is the biggest college fest where college never hesitates to bring big stars for 4 days and students from other colleges visit too followed by the college has Nakshatra college fest which is conducted by engineering students.

Campus Life

Sports only those can participate those who are state or national level players and not any normal player. The library is very big and wifi connection is strong there but around campus you might face issues.

the college also organizes technical events, workshops, seminar, cultural, festivals and placement training programs with helps students enhance their practical knowledge
the campus has a diverse student community with a healthy and inclusive atmosphere.
the aspects I liked the most were support faculty, disciplined campus environment.

placement opportunities may be stronger for certain branches and others
Wi-Fi connectivity can be inconsistent in some area in the campus
parking facilities may becomes crowded during peak hours

Commerce cours has an entire building as we have five division in B.Com itself.
Seminars and industry people are called to guide us for placements and what all add ons do we need to learn to get a corporate job.
Our fests is too good as otherwise college gate closed at 5pm but during fests it last till 10 pm.

Dislikes

Dress code which is very wierd both for boys and girls.

Placement Experience:

P&G, Deloitte, KPMG, INTEL and many others have started taking interest in B.Com students as well. Placements though our of 400 it is still around like 100 odd students get placed from campus and with a salary of 30-40k around.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
