Course offers social responsibility and socially relevant scenarios where it follows lab to real norms. Course is focused to make the students socially responsible and thus evolve the future engineers.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course offers semester transfer to IITS and also a social responsibility camp which we did on hyderabad. Also the internship available are done internationally. The courses taken consist of responsibility engineering, translational engineering and some others where teachers of high quality teaches us about the relevance.
Internships Opportunities
All internships that has been availed are unpaid ones. I have attended internships by tplc itself which is more like on board job oriented training. Other internships from startups are also availed.
Placement Experience
We dont have much on board placements but have many startups. Some of them include Ecoloop Nestabide Carbonkraft Alpha vogue There are many other startups but the students have also gound jobs at TATA
College Events
The cultural fest was conducted each year by the college. Along with extra curricular activities like freshers day, sports day, arts days. The college fest is conducted in huge venues like university stadiums or grounds available. Normally the fest of GECBH is considered as a national fest. TPLC condicts workshops, internships and fests occasionally.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not availed any scholarships but there are for backward caste students. Also GATE score scholarships are also available. Educational help for students from economically backward situation is also made avail.
Campus Life
The department is situated inside the GECBH CAMPUS. On tye fourth floor of the main administrative building. The wifi connections are available along with that, lan cable ports ate available round the clock. We havea personalised library available for accessing the required books. Kindles are distributed to students for academic purposes. The lab facilities are available inside the campus.
Hostel Facilities
I have not availed hostel facility. I have been a days scholar. But from what i have heard, the rooms are good and the food is also excellent. Wifi facility is available and the hostel is situated inside the college campus itself. Its open till 8pm and students have to enter only at that time.
