Remarks
As per my rank and score , the best College in a city like Kolkata which I can get, is my college. The thing which i like most about my college is placement that takes place same for all the techno group students. That means if you have the talent then you can do far better than what you expected.
Course Curriculum Overview
Till now , there are some training programs that help us to get the latest version of knowledge and industrial exposure. The syllabus is updated when we were in 1st year. The faculties are good but there is sort of communication problem because most faculties are Bengali and they sometimes take class in Bengali. Swagata Mam is very helpful and friendly among the faculties.
Placement Experience
There are many companies like Amazon, Microsoft, MEDTRONICS, TCS, BYJU, DOUBTNUT, WIPRO etc. The placement takes place not as per college but this takes place among our Techno group that increases the chance of good placement.
College Events
Technical festival: Avenir, Cultural Fest: Mesmerizer and Departmental fest. The participation in cultural and tech fest is among all the colleges from Kolkata. Since the tech fest takes place in another place that the college conducts but the rest are conducted in our college premises.
Campus Life
Infrastructure of my college is according to me is soo poor because the campus is so small with no hostel and the ground is also not with the college.That why the sports facilities are not good because of the small and not maintained ground. The Library is quite good because it also includes E-library. The size of library is Average. Equipment in labs are sufficient for all experiment but not enough in numbers.
Hostel Facilities
I live in a PG near the college, because there is no hostel of the college, many students are belonging of Kolkata but the rest used to live in PG or private hostels. The average rent that one student pays is about 2000 per month. There are many students who are Outsiders and avail the facility of hostels which is easily available by many locals residing near the college.
