Anonymous's Review On Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi

Jamia hamdard stands first in list of best physiotherapy college in Delhi. It has it's own hospitals making the students to be more practical and clinically experienced. It is situated in my home city making it easier for me to travel for regular classes. The teaching staffs are all doctors themselves making the concepts much more understanding. In the starting two years of our course , we have our classes with the students of MBBS. Subjects like anatomy, physiology, medicine, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, surgery etc. Are taught by the professionals in these subjects. Also, jamia hamdard has the best placement options for its students across all over the world.

Our university provides us the latest curriculum approved the authorities. Yes i was provided enough industrial exposure. All the faculties are good in their own way but i think the faculty of teaching is very good.

I am still a third year student but as far as i've seen my seniors and my teachers i am sure about having a good placement. Many known government and private hospitals prefer studends of jamia hamdard in interviews. Many foreign organisations visits our college every year and short list the students for abroad jobs. The field of physiotherapy is still spreading in india thus opening a large number of vacancies at present as well as in future.

Every year our college organises various events including cultural activities and academic activities. Jashn- e- adab is the oldest event organised by our university every year. In jashn e adab many famous personalities shows their presence. Since our university is islamic , thus it doesn't invite bollywood celebrities of this generation. In the last two years, big stars like javed akhtar, shabana azmi, noor sisters, rajpal yadav, RJ naved , ali zafar, pankaj tripathi and many others have their participation. Moreover each and every department has its freshers party and farewell parties for which an auditorium archives is used. Individual department organises their individual fest of the year followed by a common fest for the entire college. In the best there is almost each every type of competition and performances.

Department of students welfare( SWD) is always there to help the needy students. There is an online portal called moma scholarships which provides further details about scholarships. There is a scholarship for the students achieving highest marks in the previous semester ,giving the achiever a scholarship of rs 3000. A scholarship for muslim females having a good academic score. A scholarship for SCs , STs and OBCs. A scholarship for students whose parents annual income is less than 70,000 /-. A scholarship for single child. But i have not applied for any scholarship yet.

Jamia hamdard has a huge campus. Its been two years of me in college and i have not seen even half of my college yet. Each and every department has its own individual building with an individual library and canteens. There are well maintained lifts , clean and hygienic separate washrooms for males and females. Every classroom is airy, well organised, spacious, and well furnished. But only few classes are converted into smart classes having ACs. The other classes were supposed to be air condioned a long time ago. The entire campus is fully connected to wifi. Overall, the campus is amazing.

I'm not a hostler but many of my friends are. First of all , it is not easy to have a hostle because the proportion of NRI students is very high. Also students from the across the country come to pursue their degree here. The hostel facilities are divided in two varios classes depending upon the fee structure. The expensive one with cost of approximately 3 lakh per annum has individual AC room while the one with 1 lakh per year has non AC sharing rooms. There are categories from single bed in a room to 10 beds in a room depending upon prices. The hostel food is undoubtedly tasty , fresh, hygienic. Both veg and non- veg food items are prepared for the mess.
