It was near my hometown(Kolkata) Many big companies visit my college. It has really nice campus. Very interactive seniors. It is an Institute of National Importance (INI). The demand for this college is increasing every year.
Not yet. but hoping to get more experience. I visited an industry only during IV. the faculties are really good. They are loving teaches well when compared to other engineering colleges. They provide enough notes.
I have done winter internship in IIT Patna. I didn't get any stipend though but it was a nice experience.
As i have mention earlier, if you are in this college you don't need to worry more about placement, you will get a job definitely. We know the struggle when we cleared jee mains and now college life is simpler. A little bit of hardwork and you are straight into a successful life. I have seen students getting placed in their dream companies. There's ample opportunity.
The present campus life is actually boring. they provide less interest in indulging students in extra curricular activites. They just keep in pushing to make us study. The cultural events are not at all at a college level. its a below school level, It would be better to day viswajyothi school rather than viswajyothi college.
The college only supports basketball. they only provide basketballs but they don’t buy us football. I dont like this character. hoping they would change in future. Labs are moderately furnished and is provided with enough equipments.
Hostel rooms are ok. 3 persons in one room. 3 months 5500 rent and mess fees (approx 3500 ) per month. they have provided wifi routers in every corridor but none of them have proper range. seats and tables are ok.
After the 6th-semester candidate becomes eligible for campus placement. generally, companies visited are TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc. package range lies from 1 lakh per annum to 4 lakh per annum. Almost 60% of a student placed in our batch. People also opt for M Tech and Mba after completing B.Tech
After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
Placement scenarios in this college are pretty much decent. Attracting both core and non core companies gives a very fair placement percentage. The students can start applying for internships for the 3rd year itself. And the number of offers matches the number of internships. The number of companies visiting the campus is above 100. And the offers made are about 500. The highest package is given by Microsoft 39 lpa while the lowest is offered by Cognizant Solutions 4 LPA. The percentage of students getting place pre covid scenario crossed 60 but had reduced during the covid era. My plans after getting the degree are to take up a job and earn.
Placements are top-notch. One Becomes eligible on 4th year. Companies like Wipro Infotech Mahindra visits regularly and the number of offers made is quite satisfactory. The highest package is around 12 Lakhs. The average package is average.
The placements are great, a lot of companies and organizations come for campus placements throughout the year and offer all kinds of roles for everyone's requirement. Also, internship opportunities are there. Higher packages go up to around 14-18 LPA approximately. And most average is around 6 LPA. Mass companies also visit for hiring many students. The percentage of students getting placements is dependent on course, computer science students 70-80% get placed by the end of the year. After getting the degree my plan was to work and get on-field experience which is what I'm doing.
This is a good university to take my course. Nice university and the nature and environmental is too good for study.
The placement rate is too bad. But our environments for study is too good. Placement is too average. There is no stipend from our college also.
