Good College staffs but less infrastructure facility

College is very good in terms of staff, students. They need to improve their infrastructure, management team. Management team are very ruthless. For even paying the fees they make us wait for a long time. They dont do their work properly. For paying exam fees or collecting hall tickets etc they slow down the work.

Got into the college through anna university counselling process. I had got more than three colleges in the counselling window. But chose this college as this is better than other colleges.

The course curriculum was as per the norms by Anna University, Chennai. The couse curriculum was some what difficult to study as the time period for each sem is less when compared to the portions to be covered.

I did not have any intership with the college. I had the internship with another IT company where they paid me a stipend of Rs.5000 per month. The intership is nothing but learning what is happening in the IT company or any company and how they work.

The placement opportunites have been improved a lot and they are many companies that are providing placements for the student of the college especially CSE dept.

We will be having events like culturals once in a year for each and every department. We collaborate with other departments and make it a big event and we used to share our experiences with everyone so that the next event we improvise.

Fees structure are not as per the norms by anna university. The management quota fees structure is very high and the counselling quota is not as per the norms. They charge extra by giving some reasons. All colleges in chennai do the same.

Scholarships are offered to the Scheduled caste and scheduled tribes group of people. My batch students got around 5k as scholarship from their tuition fees.

Extra curricular activites are not very good and have to be improved. We didnt have any in our times. Hope it got better but not sure. Occasionally we used to play games for college team against other college team. They are continuing this but not other activities.

I am not a hostelite but my friends in hostel were not satisfied with the facilitites, especially the food during our time. But now they have changed the contrator for food and it is really very good. I am not sure about the hostel.

There is no proper alumni network for outgoing students or old students. They have to start it. Senior students are friendly and are very helpful with the juniors. They help them in their studies very well. They offer tips on passing the exams.

Exam structure must be improved. It is very time consuming and needs to be reduces so that we can save time for the exams and complete on time. Practicals are good and very frequent. Weekly practicals are applicable.

Faculty are good and have sense of humour. We wont be bored to death. They teach well and share their experiences and we will have a good rappo with them.
