Remarks

There's nothing bad as such, bad is a really strong word when we talk about educational institutions. I would just pray good for my college as it has given me the best days of my life.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The exams and the course curriculum that we follow is based in the university guidelines basically, we follow VTU rules and regulations which is quite an elaborate detail of each and every subject we study, the etiquette and the environment makes us much more dedicated towards our work and much more provides a self-confidence if striving for the best.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are quite sound and beneficial, their motive is clear and short to get every student placed they do conduct placement training classes and conducting pre-placement talks, on a regular basis we have group discussions which make us focused and motivated to speak loud in any crowd, it's endearing.

College Events

4

Melange and Colosseum are the annual celebration of our college where the students are the coordinators managing each and every particular thing on their own and supervising the event throughout, the preparations start from one month in prior and the celebrities invitation are also taken care by the students and monitored accordingly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When it comes to fee structure KSET, COMEDK AND MANAGEMENT are the three areas to be looked after, the KSET students on an average pay 88k, the COMEDK & MANAGEMENT approximately quite the same amount of about 1.25lacs keeping all the subsidiary fees together, all the fees structure are declared by VTU itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

Being a management student applying for any kind of scholarship won't really benefit you as far as my knowledge is concerned and on top of that, I am a non-Kannadiga so it really doesn't help to apply for any kind of scholarship.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is very uplifting and amazing, there is no such gender ratio kind of theory applied moreover there's a large number of girls studying in the college and are equally given opportunities for showcasing their talents, and a very friendly environment is always encouraged.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni and Trust are efficient in helping their college to step greater stones and making things possible together, a bit of their contribution is changing lives so that's more important.

Admission

My admission process was very smooth, all the details regarding my stream were explained to me and my brother in a detailed view and certainly taken care of all my queries and the little doubts I had. The administration department took each and every issue quite seriously and not making confusing, I was entertained particularly like one student at a time so, that further explanation would be easier.

Faculty

5

The faculties of my computer science are tremendously well trained and very thorough with the subjects that they teach, the teachers make every subject very interesting to study and are really amazing in whatever they do. To be precise they are the best teachers we got, making us self reliant besides loving us so much, they are the real gems of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs
