College management is money minded. They only think of money. Now they are up with improving the facilities and stuffs which are essential and are not available to the students.
Entrance Preview
I took WBJEE. As i stay in jamshedpur,jharkhand its near to my place and the techno group is quite famous among the private institutes.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was good as it was a newly built college we had to struggle for few things. Books wer not available on time,labs were not ready on time. The elective subjects were forced on to us which is a negative thing. We were not allowed choices.
Internships Opportunities
My college internship experience was good. I did it in Tata Motors,jamshedpur. The fact is that doin your internship in such organisation itself keeps you motivated and excited. No stipend was offered to us during our internship.
Placement Experience
Placements and job oppurtunities are good for the IT sectors but for the core sector it is pure. There are hardly any companies. Another thing is that all the techno groups hold a pool campus. Our college does not hold campus by itself.
College Events
Freshers event for us prabuddha den the fest,yagvik then every year these were the two programs held evry year. In an inaugaration event Harbajan Singh had come in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very feasible. I think its the least you will come across in india under reputed colleges. Per semester fee on an average was thirty eight thousand. Accomodation was not imcluded.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes there is some tution fee waver scheme for people who are not capable of paying the college fees.
Campus Life
Campus life is not that good if you compare it to the rest of the colleges. Extracurricular activities were not held at intra college level. It was basicaly for some event in some other college and few people were always the choice for it. Sports life is good but only football and cricket. Not other sports.
Hostel Facilities
I changed my pg' s alot. First i used to stay in a pg near my college for which i used to pay 4500 pm which was for two sharing with a common bathroom for eight people and then food quality used to vary from good to bad each day. Den i switched to a room which was good.
Alumni/Alumna
No alumni network. Yes senior students were ready to help when they were asked for. I would have loved if we had any network. A alumini network seeks to provide a lot of help to the junior students as to make aware of the outside world.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is good. Its very regular and punctual. The exam pattern and quality is also good. Every year we used to have two semesters and in every semester two sets of internal exams two to three assesments for each paper and then practicals and viva.
Faculty
The faculty standard was far below par. They were no doubt highly educated but they did not know how to take a class forward and teach. No body was really interested in there lectures only a total of 5% would pay attention.
