Remarks
College Management is average. The best thing of the Northcap University is that it it is the most cleaned and well hygiened university. And the worst part is that I expained before, that the faculty is diversified, the one section got the senior faculty and the other could get a new commer.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exam structure is quiet good. There are 8 semesterd in Btech. 2 examination per semester - 1 Minor and 1 Major. The internal evaluation keeps on going on the daily bases. There is a variety of courses, and the best part is that NCU gives you the opportunity every semester to chose your favorite course. You have to select 1 course every semester which you finds interesting. There are credits specified to the each course and at the end of your degree you have to accumulate 250 credits approx. There is no time where you feel very much burden on your head.
Placement Experience
The placements of The Northcap University is average for the Btech CSE and for all other streams, it's very poor. Initially placement drive cell will tell that they help student to grow and achieve their goals BUT no they are the worst placement cell you will find in any college. They do not help any student infact they do not listen to you. They just want to achieve their targets, that the evry student has been placed no matters where. Avg. Package of Btech CSE is Rs 3.8 Lakhs per annum CTC They do not provide Internship facility, but they provide you opportunities. Mainly Faculty do their research and collabs with some of the companies.
College Events
Each semester a big event held in the college premisis. The summer event is a greater event which goes for a week and so many activities takes place. Also small events such as flash mobs and open mic events could take place any day by the cultural or information societies held by the students only.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is average for Btech CSE as compared to other private colleges. Per semester Btech fees is 130000 Total fees = 8*130000 = 1040000 (Course fees) I didn't opted for the hostel, so the hostel fees could go approx 250000 per year. You can also avail PGs around college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Northcap University provides a good scholarship each year. So the main criteria to avail the scholarship is that you must be from Haryana. Also the scholarship is divided for different Family earnings and also on the basis of marks you got 12th Standards. In my class only there is a girl who got full 100% refund of the course fee as she got above 95% in the 12th standards.
Hostel Facilities
No, I din't opted for the Hostel. The hostel fees could go approx 250000 per year. You can also avail PGs around college. What I have heard from my friends is that hostels are pathetic. It is always a good choice to avail a good PG nearby. There are so many options available in PGs. Also, you can't avail hostel if you are from Delhi NCR region.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni network is quiet good. College also arranges some events where Alumni used to come and talk to the students. But the best way to interact with the Alumnis is by the means of participatiing in the College societies and clubs, as the Alumnis are also remain so active in such societies even after leaving the college.
Admission
I heard that the Computer Science of The Northcap University was pretty good, and the university also was a reputated one. Moreover, I chose this college because it was situated at a very close distance from my home. I do not wanted to wste time thus I chose this college.
Faculty
In the Northcap University, the faculty is diversified. I mean to say you could get a very good and senior faculty and also you could get a new commer, so it all depends on the luck. There are so many sections that the faculty differs. In starting I remember the faculty I got for the Mathematics was so good and she was an IITian. I also remember that in my 3rd semester the faculty for mathematics I got was pathetic. So, it depends on each subject every semester.
