Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very relevant and fair for studying optometry. This course groomed very well for work under prestigious hospitals. Grooming is very necessary to work in any institutions. 100% placements are provided in hospitals and clinics with great interest.

100% placements are given to optometry students and internships are also given in both private and government hospitals.

College Events

Sarswati puja, Vasant utsav, janmastami, world sight day, world optometry day and college fest, world tourism day, and many competitions like painting, models, quiz etc. and cultural programs are also held in college. Some programs also very big and strong contestant for participation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I pay my fees through checks you can pay through cash also and NEFT options are also available. Perviously at a time of addmission college demanded for some money to book a seat in hostel. Separate room made for paying fees and asking fee related queries.

No, I didn't opted for scholarship. but many of my friends were opted for scholarship through online process and college also give details about the scholarship.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are also done everytime on national or state level. Debate, quiz completions are also held in this institution. There is no racism, or equality based on gender. Workshops, and conferences are also held to meet and extra knowledge about the course.

Yes I opted for hostel, facilities a very good. 4 seat are available each room. Room are very well and large with one long table and 4 chairs available each room. Purifier is available for drinking water.

Seniors are very much helpful in any problems whether it is about study or something else. The also give full support.

I came to know about the college from Google as this is the near by places for studying optometry. You can apply online and offline mode both. Details about the courses to study are available in google with full details about fees and structure according to courses.

Faculties of college are very helpful and cooperative anytime. They teach us from presentation and provide notes which are very helpful in examination and also in getting details about the topic. Practicals are also very helpful in working day to day job.

The college is the mother institute of nursing in West Bengal. As a result it is well disciplined with knowledgeable teachers who are strict ,punctual and well disciplined.
The quality of social interactions are very high as ward duty is a part of our course.So,we have to deal with patients everyday since first year.This made us social and enhanced our management skills
Teaching methods include ppt along with detailed lectures from faculty, also Nursing skills are taught specially in Labs for every Nursing procedure and technique.

Dislikes

Very strict environment, only female in the course.

I choose this course as it makes us disciplined and trained for any future jobs.The curriculum provides extreme possibilities for real world applications.I would like the clinical hours to be reduced. The frequency and timing of exams are easy to give if one studies.

I appreciate the location, campus environment and the faculty. The collage is situated in a convenient and peaceful area. The campus is well maintained and the campus employees are very supportive.
My engagement with campus life has been very positive. The quality of social interaction is warm and inclusive. It allows me to express myself at my fullest.
The faculty members are highly knowledgeable and are always approachable. their teaching methods are highly interactive it blends theoretical concept with practical application.

Dislikes

In library some subject books are not available and also the condition of some books are not good.
The food provided in the canteen are not affordable for everyone.

Placement Experience:

NSHM provides an opportunity to get enrolled in reputed hospital during the 4th year of study. The highest package provided was 4.2 LPA and the average pakage is 2.2 LPA . 100% students from last year got placement at good Multifacilities hospital and diagnostic centres,while some opted for higher studies.

College is new, so more facilities are not available at this time
Hostel facility available but less rooms in number so many students are not facilated for this facility
Our medical College emergency hospital distance is long so we faces some journey issues

My college is new so i think teaching faculties are minimum. If faculty is larg in number so our study is more easier. Some teachers are busy with their operations, hospital ward rounds so we not to meet & solve our study problems anytime.

Location because it's in the southern Kolkata side, so the vehicle availability is nice
Timing cause it's not that far from my house.
Programmes cause the all types of program like cultural programmes, educational excursion etc are good.

Dislikes

Campus life is quite boaring for nursing students
Surroundings are quite dirty around the college
We have not any library access to our nursing college

I choose this course because i have interest in these field and also it is a growing field. For those who want to take addmission in this course it will be a great choice .. the environment of brainware is very good the faculty members are very friendly and helpful. There is also a mentoring option in the university for every course there is a mentor teacher allotted of every class that helps very much the students. Talking about tha qualification of the faculties they are highly educated Some of them i know are retired professor of jadavpur university. The exam system in brainware is mostly good from the 1st sem they take power point presentation infront of class to master the public speaking.

College building ground. Faculty memebers.
Placement are very good. I like also our library.

Dislikes

Nothing i dislike as much but hostel meal i dislike.
College timing starts in very morning . 7:30 am so i dislike.
Ward duty i like. But 5 hrs standing is hard.

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Students get jobs in Many hospitals or colleges. The highest package is 40000 and the average package is 30000. 90 students of this college getting placement.
